When Sarah and Joe walked up to the Barnes house. Both Bucky and Winnie were being brought out on stretchers with oxygen masks on.
"What the hell happened here?" Joe said
"Oh my god you can't even begin to believe what just happened. But right now I need you two take my little ones and keep them till I figure out their conditions. But I need you both to do me one big favor." James said as he handed Bradley to Sarah.
"Anything James. What do you need?" Joe said
"I need you all to gather everyone at the hospital tomorrow morning even Ryan. He of all people need to be there cause this involves Ellie." James said as he got into the car and left. Once he arrived at the hospital he sat in the waiting room.
"Mr Barnes." A woman's voice said
He looked up to see a nurse holding clipboards. "We need you to fill this all out.." she said
He filled out the patient information forms for both his wife and son. After waiting for another hour a doctor came out.
"Mr Barnes both your son and wife are going to be fine. Your wife suffered a mild heart attack we are going to keep her over night for observation. Mainly because her blood pressure was slightly elevated. Your son had a very severe anxiety attack has he not been diagnosed before?" The doctor said
"Dr Barron this is the second time in his 21 years of life that's he's had one. So no he hasn't been formally diagnosed." He said
"Well we are keeping him as well mainly because he hasn't woken up yet. We gave him something to relax him cause his blood pressure and heart rate was not in a good range." Dr Barron said
"Thank you." He said
Dr Barron left him in the waiting room he called Joe and Sarah to give them an update. He followed a nurse upstairs.
"Your wife is in 234 and your son is in 240." She said
"Thank you." He said as he checked in on Winnie first.
She was awake. "Hey darlin.." he said
"Hey.." she said as he sat beside her and kissed like his life depended on it.
He rested his forehead against hers. "Don't you ever scare me like that again. I'm not ready for you to leave me. We promised to grow old together we are only 41." He said
She let out a laugh.
"Is Buchanan okay?" She said
"He's been admitted he had a severe anxiety attack." He said
"I can't believe this James. My best friend hurt my son.." she said
"I know I can't believe it either. But I mean Taylor wasn't herself she had that affair with another student. And cancer or not what she did was wrong." James said
He left Winnie's room once she was asleep and resting. He went down to Bucky's room he was still on oxygen and was hooked up to ekg machines.
"Oh my boy.." he whispered
He sat with awhile before going back to Winnie's room where they had a cot for him.
