Two months later
Bucky was enjoying a quiet night at home with Cam making car noises. He was working on his homework for his college math class. He looked at his son and looked down. College wasn't suppose to be like this. He took a break of studying and got down on the floor to play with Cam.
After he got Cam down for the night a few hours later. Bucky got on social media he was scrolling through his news feed. It was a group of photo of Ellie Colton Caleb Frankie Cole and Paisley. They were all dressed up they had went to see a show at the Grand Ol Opry. He went through the photos and whispered "it must be nice to still have friends."
He continued to scroll down past the photo dump that Frankie had done with the Grand Ol Opry trip. Ellie's status up date was below a few posts.
"Friends dating friends! Bowling date night!"
He rolled his eyes.
He quietly finished his homework and went to sleep. Meanwhile back in TN the group was at the bowling alley.
"Come on baby.." Colton said as Ellie took her turn.
Ellie got two strikes. "Good job baby." Colton said as she came back to the seats as he kissed her.
"This isn't fair. Next time we should do boys vs girls." Paisley said
"You are just being a sore loser." Caleb said
She just ignored him. After they finished their round they turned in their shoes and left the bowling alley. They grabbed a late dinner at the local diner where the girls posted more pictures. They even had their waitress take a few of them as well.
The next morning Bucky was eating breakfast with Cam when he saw the photo dump post as Ellie calls it. He rolled his eyes if it wasn't for the fact that they shared Cam he would unfriend her.
"More dada.." Cam said
"Okay I'll get you more oatmeal. But then we have to go cause dada will be late." He said
After they were done with breakfast Bucky took him to daycare. He snuck into class but his professor noticed him. Once the class was over.
"Mr Barnes can I see you." Professor Langdon said
Bucky walked down to the professor's lectern.
"Mr Barnes you do know what time class starts?" Professor Langdon said
"Yes sir I do at 10 AM." Bucky said
"Then why is every morning you are rolling in here 10-15 minutes late. If you are waiting for a hangover to wear off cause you were out partying all night then maybe morning classes aren't for you." Professor Langdon said
"Sir I assure I am not hung over or partying all night. I have almost 2 year old son at home." He said
"Doesn't he have a mother that can take over in the morning so you aren't late?" Professor Langdon said
"His mother and I are not together. She's attending college in TN she gets him on the weekends. But maybe you are right maybe morning classes just aren't for me." He said as he walked out.
He took a deep breathe as the warm air of fall in September hit his face. He finished up his other classes for the day. When he got home from class and picking up Cam he called his parents and vented to them about his day and the Professor.
