(36) Ellie Gets Cancer

A year later 

It was Thanksgiving Ellie had given Sydney and Cash their sippy cups. As she stood back up, she heard. 

"Cute kids

"Thanks.." she said but then looked to see who said it. 

"Hello Ellie Kate..you've some cute kids. I hope they turn out not like you." 

"Mom?" 

"Long time no see. I see your other son Cam right? He's looking like his daddy I know I don't have to worry about him cause his daddy will keep him straight. Maybe it's a good thing you let James raise him till he was a teenager.  I honestly can't believe he slept with your nerdy ass." Taylor said 

"You're not real..and my kids are none of your business." She said 

"Oh is that attitude I hear in that tone. And look at your daddy..mmm I knew he would be a silver fox. But that woman he married after me is the total opposite." Taylor said 

"Shut up." She whispered 

"Aww did I hurt your little feelings. You were always so sensitive Elliot. Grow up you are an adult and a mother." Taylor said 

Ryan noticed Ellie in the kitchen holding her head. She hasn't told anyone that she was getting frequent migraines. 

"Ellie.." he said 

"Dad make her stop." She whispered 

"Make who stop baby you are the only one in kitchen." He said 

"Then why is mom standing behind you." She said 

He looked behind him and back at her. "Ellie honey are you alright?" Ryan said 

"I don't feel so good daddy. My head hurts really bad.." she said and she collapsed in his arms. 

"Tara stay with the kids." Ryan said as he yelled at his sister. 

He carried Ellie out bridal style Ophelia got in the back seat with her. Ryan began to drive towards the hospital. He called the hospital using his blue tooth. 

"Savannah regional hospital how may I Help you?" 

"This is Ryan Cooper. I need to know who in the neuro department is currently working." He said 

"Dr James Barnes IV Dr Samuel Wilson and Dr Danica Keller." 

"Have Dr Wilson meet me at the doors. Tell who I am and that it's Ellie Kate he'll understand." Ryan said as he drove like a mad man. 

He finally arrived at the hospital ER doors where Sam had a wheel chair. 

"You are going to need a bed.." Ryan said 

Ellie was out cold in the backseat. 

"Get me gurney now!" Sam yelled. 

"She was complaining her head hurting and she said..she said she was seeing Taylor. Like she was having a full on conversation with her before I walked into the kitchen." Ryan said 

Sam looked at him. "She was hallucinating?" He said 

"Yeah.." Ryan said as he helped put her on the bed. 

As they wheeled her in Ellie started to come to. 

"Hey there Ellie darlin. Let's get you checked out okay?" Sam said as they went into a private ER room.
