A month later
Ophelia and Frankie was helping put the finishing touches on the nursery. When Ellie's water broke on the stairs as she was walked them out.
"Oh my god let's go now." Frankie said
Ophelia helped her out to a car while Frankie grabbed bags and Sydney. Ryan met them at the hospital as well as Colton's siblings and Charlie. After being there four hours Ellie gave birth to her son another tiny red head she named him Cash Jacob.
Colton got the text she had the baby after the game he was playing in was over. His sister sent him a picture with his name. He called Ellie's phone after he was able to get some time to fly in.
By the time he was able to fly in she was already home. He sat down on the couch with him as he fed him a bottle. "Hey little guy I'm your daddy.." he whispered
Ellie went into the kitchen to throw away the diaper. Once Cash was asleep he laid him down in his vibrating swing. He found Ellie in the kitchen cleaning up.
"Do you need anything?" He said
"Not from you no." She said
"Elle.." he said
She wouldn't look at him. "We agreed it was for the best before we found out about him. This is my dream..why can't you see that this is important to me Elle." He said
"Because you Colton..you swore in your wedding vows that you would never put anything or anyone above me or us. You have always been the one person in my life that hasn't put me in a corner." She said
He swallowed hard. "All my life I've been pushed to the side Colt. You of all people know that and I've sacrificed so much! I wasn't able to do my dream of dancing in NY something always happened to where I couldn't. And I'm the one that is always sacrificing something. And the one time I needed you step up for me and our family you chose to walk away. So yes I'm angry and hurt Colton Kane. So enjoy your dream job while your ex wife raises your babies alone." She said as she walked off and took Cash upstairs with her.
He looked down as he leaned against her kitchen counter top.
"Well atleast I got you to talk to me." He whispered as he went to sleep on her couch.
