(5) HOCO Proposals & First Dates

Two days later 

Frankie and Paisley came running down the hall.

"Hey hey you gotta come with us!" Frankie squealed in delight 

"What's going on?" She said as she shut the locker. 

"Just come with us. Colton has a surprise for you!" Paisley said as they dragged her down the hall. 

The moment that Paisley said that caught everyone's attention. So it ended up most of the senior class followed them outside. Up to the softball field where Colton was waiting with the word Homecoming spelled out with baseballs and softballs. Holding roses and a softball bucket with candy. 

She smiled as she walked to him. "This is why you were waiting for me when I pulled in." She said as she kissed him. 

"Mmm yes ma'am." He whispered as he pulled her closer. 

Bucky looked down then disappeared back to into the school building. 

"So what's your answer doll baby?" He said

"Um yes duh." She said 

"Don't you duh me." He said as he tickled her sides. 

She helped him clean up the balls and carried the stuff to her car. 

"And I'll take these." He said as he pulled the peanut M&Ms. 

She smiled at him. "So I'm thinking Saturday we could go to the batting cages first change and go have dinner. I'm thinking Italian." He said as they started to walk into the school building. 

"I'd love that. I haven't been to the batting cages since I had the baby." She said 

"You still have it Elle. You just don't want to play." He said as he took her hand and interlaced their fingers.

"I may still be able to hit a ball." She said 

"That's all you need. I know you can still throw a ball too." He said as he kissed her nose. 

She smiled at him. "You need to stop.." she whispered 

"Stop what?" He whispered as he kissed her against his locker. 

"Mmm being so amazing." She whispered 

"Nope.." he said as he grabbed his first period books and shut the locker door. 

They walked right past Bucky and group of friends. 

"Where's Morgan?" Nat said 

"We broke up last weekend. I found out the real reason why she and Ellie got into it." Bucky said in a low tone. 

"You alright dude?" Clint said

"Yeah.." he said as he walked off. 

That Saturday Ryan and his fiancée Ophelia said they would watch Cam for Ellie while she went on her date. 

Colton opened the door for her and took her bag of clothes. He put them in his trunk with his bag. 

"Okay..so first off. I am so glad that your dad is marrying someone who is like a freaking Angel to you." He said as he backed out of her driveway. 

"Well thank you. Ophelia is great. Her daughters Tabitha and Tennile are going to be moving in soon. Well Tabitha is anyways Tenny is a college freshmen at UGA. She will be around at holidays and breaks. But they are both just like their mom." She said as he interlaced his hand with hers. 

"And secondly..you look beautiful." He said 

Pink crept up in her face. "Don't do that. We have been friends a long time and I have told you that before." He said 

"Yeah but that was before you were my boyfriend." She said 

They arrived at the batting cages he was constantly opening doors and letting her go first. He paid for two rounds on two different cages side by side. 

By the end of their two rounds they were both dripping sweat. 

"See you still have it baby." He said as he lifted his shirt to wipe his face. 

"And you still have your abs." She said 

He kissed her. "Let's get changed and go eat I'm starving. What's your curfew on the weekends?" He said 

"Midnight." She said 

"Awesome. Gives us plenty of time to go back to my house so I can kiss you for a few hours." He said 

"I'd like that." She said 

They turned in their bats and changed their clothes. She took a selfie of them kissing in the car and another one of their hands interlaced. She posted both of them to her social media with the caption "first date. ❤️" 

At the Italian restaurant they were placing their order. She ordered spaghetti and meatballs. 

"Shredded or crumbled parmesan cheese?" The waiter said 

"Oh I can't have any of that. So neither." She said 

Colton placed his order which was lasagna. Once the waiter left he looked at her confused. 

She was squeezing the lemon into her water. She looked up at him. 

"What?" She said 

"Why did you say you can't have the cheese." He said 

"I'm lactose intolerant. I can't have any diary..also I'm allergic to shellfish. And of course everyone knows I'm allergic to nuts. I'm also allergic to latex and a ingredient in birth control so I can't take it." She said 

"That's okay." He said as he scooted the chair closer to hers. 

He leaned in her ear. "I'm also allergic to latex. So you don't have to worry about feeling embarrassed." as he made her look at him. 

She kissed him as she looked at him. 

"I'm not him baby. Don't give me that look." He whispered

They enjoyed their dinner date after dinner they went to his house. He turned on a movie for them as they laid down on the futon couch. Under the blankets they began to make out as he squeezed her but cheek.

Moans began to fill the room. He looked at her "Tell me if it's to much to fast okay? My dad would haunt me in my sleep." He said 

"He would not." She whispered as she kissed him.
