STEF POV

"I said SLOWLY! Are you deaf child?" I say to my granddaughter as I was taking her out driving again. I knew she wasn't of age yet but I wanted her to know how to do this in case of an emergency. Yes, I had taught Jude and Frankie when they were older but  I really wanted Baby Stef to know how to do many things earlier then my other kids.  Was it because of Callie? Possibly.

"Sorry Yaya. My foot slipped." She lies rather innocently as I give her a glare.

"Yeah, my belts gonna slip soon too. Easy, on the gas baby. Ok? Easy. And both hands on the wheel. Ok?"

"Ok."

"Alright, now don't be be nervous just careful. It's overwhelming at first but ya'll get it. You did well last time but this time I want you to actually drive around here. You think you can?"

"Yes! Defintly."

"Good I know you can because I'm going easy on you. I learned to drive at 12 on busy highway."

"12!! How!! Isn't that illegal?"

"Yeah, it is but learning how to drive that early helped me alot and I wasn't depending on anyone and asking around for for fucking rides. NOT that you will take this car because YOU WILL NOT! BUT if something happens and you need to drive and for some reason I'm not there or another adult you will know what to do. I won't have you being some clueless fucking moron." I say as she bust out laughing.

"Yaya how can I get in trouble for cursing if I hear you curse ALLL the time."

"Because I'm an adult, like I keep telling you and you are not my dear."

"Have you heard Frankie talk?" she laughs as I roll my eyes knowing my older daughter had my mouth on her and I only had myself to blame.

"Just drive and hush before you never drive again in life. Go it?"

"Ok." She giggles again as she slowly begins to drive in the empty parking lot.

"Good baby. Hands on the wheel and straight until you get to that tree."

"Ok." Sh says as I hear my phone go off and quickly glancing at it I see Lena's name pop up and as usual I can't help but smile.

"Hey babylove! How ya doing?!" I ask smiling as I continue to watch baby Stef like a hawk.

"Hi sweetheart. I'm good, um just came back from Tracey's. Where are you?" Her voice sounds rather troubled and I can tell instantly that something is wrong no matter how hard she tries to hide it.

"Having our granddaughter drive me around."

"STEF!!" She yells as I pull the phone away from my ear for I knew she didn't always approve of my actions or parenting skills.

"Baby, it's an empty lot. IF she crashes our car  in an empty lot then we have bigger problems"

"Yaya! I'm not crashing! I got this." Baby Stef snaps rather offended as I can't help but laugh.

"Ok, then park there. Right in that spot. Parallel park like I showed you last week." I order as she continues to drive pretty well for her and I direct the conversation back to my wife. "Sweets I got a handle on it." I say  to Lena as I hear the heaviness in her voice. "What's the matter baby?

"Um, I'll tell you later. Not now." She says as I instantly know what the problem is and who the fuck it's about. But considering my grandbaby is next to me I won't push Lena.

"Ok, Tracey ok?"

"She's good. She said she would drop by this week to see you and that she misses you. Been working a ton."
