Sickie/Little: Felix
Caregivers: Chan

No one's POV:
It had been almost a week since Felix had come down with a bad cold. First, it had started with a runny nose that became progressively more stuffed up. Then his throat started bothering him too. Worst was the fatigue that made pushing through his days even harder. Chan was the first to notice his soulmate not being his bubbly self. Initially, Felix tried to deny being sick but soon had to give in because his hyung could see right through his act. In a husky voice, Felix admitted: "I'm a bit under the weather but no biggie, just some sniffles and my throat's kinda irritated but it'll be fine." It probably would have been fine, had the Aussie taken the time to rest and recover. He didn't though, pushing through his busy schedule and it only took a few days for the dancer to feel a lot worse. One morning, he woke up earlier than the other members, his throat was suddenly so much worse and his attempts at drinking some water to soothe it failed miserably. He almost choked because the pain was so unexpectedly intense. Shakily, he made his way back to bed, a tear trailing down his cheek. He sniffled into his pillow, cringing had how congested his nose and how stuffed up his head in general was. The dull pressure headache didn't help his situation either, so Felix just hoped he'd get another hour of rest before Chan's alarm would go off and they'd have to get ready for a busy day ahead.
Felix did manage to go back to sleep within seconds and it felt like no time had passed before he felt a hand shake his shoulder. 'Strange', he thought, 'Wouldn't I usually wake up to a random song of my hyung's playlist?' Then the side of his bed dipped and he heard Chan chuckle: "Come on, mate. You're not usually this hard to wake up. You didn't even hear the song of the day." What Felix became aware of when the leader talked to him, was just how congested he was. It was starting to affect his ears too now and his hearing was so muffled, it almost seemed like he was under water. "Hyung?", the dancer croaked, flinching at the pain in his throat. Chan's brows furrowed with worry and he brushed his fingers against Felix' flushed cheek, stating: "You're not fine. I could barely get you to wake up, your temperature is up and you sound like you've been gargling glass. You'll stay home today, alright? Take care of your cold." Felix could only nod, too out of it to do much more. Chan pulled the blanket up higher, tucking it around Felix' shivering frame before going to get the rest of the group up and going.
The group had headed out almost two hours ago after Chan had promised Felix he'd only be one call away, should the younger need something. Felix had basically spent the entire time since his group had left sleeping, though he didn't rest peacefully, turning frequently as the fever made it impossible to get comfortable. He got up when his bed started to feel too uncomfortable and decided to move to the couch. If he could find something that'd go easy on his throat, he might even eat something. With the chills still bothering him, Felix wrapped his comforter around his shoulders and shuffled to the living room. He bumped his shoulder into the wall twice, his balance seeming a bit off although he wasn't dizzy. Arriving at his destination, the couch, the dancer didn't have the motivation to make it further to the kitchen. Especially, because it was unlikely he'd find something that wasn't unbearably painful to swallow. He turned on the TV desperate for any form of distraction, only to find one of his favorite cartoons playing. Panicking, he turned the TV of again. He couldn't afford to slip right now, being more sensitive to physical discomfort when he was in headspace. It would be difficult enough to care for his sick self, no need to make it even harder.
Losing all sense of time, Felix kept drifting in and out of consciousness as he stared up at the ceiling. Occasionally, tears would spring into his eyes when he subconsciously swallowed. He just tried to pay it no mind and hopefully the time would pass quicker, so he wouldn't have to suffer alone anymore because his friends would be home. For the time being, he could handle it. It wasn't like Felix had never been sick before. As the day stretched awfully slowly though, the Aussie began to feel worse. His head was so heavy and stuffed up, he was thirsty but couldn't handle to take even the smallest sip of water and the fever was making him emotional, craving the physical comfort only his brothers could provide. To make matters worse, one of his ears had started to hurt. His resolve to suffer through this alone slowly crumbled and Felix found himself stumbling back to his room where he had left his phone. By now, his balance was definitely off and he had to catch himself against the walls to not fall. After what seemed like an endless struggle, he finally crashed on his bed and grabbed his phone, dialing then only number he could think of. His voice cracked as he whimpered: "Hyung, can you please come home? I feel really bad."
