Stray Kids had all made their individual plans for the holidays, visiting their respective families. Even Chan and Felix were able to fly back to Australia and had already left for the airport earlier in the week. Being on a Christmas break, the other members left one by one over the course of the week, Jisung however had to attend a meeting at the company on the day before Christmas Eve. Deciding he wouldn't let his dongsaeng stay at their dorm alone because he feared the boy might feel lonely and left behind if he was the only one not yet able to leave for his home, Minho decided to stay back too. Both of them would go home to their respective families on the morning of Christmas Eve. The dancer could tell that Jisung was a bit uncomfortable with the situation, feeling guilty for keeping his hyung at the dorm when he was officially on a break and should be spending it with his family. Minho however found it unfair that all of them were already off of work and the rapper still had schedule on the day before Christmas Eve, so the only right thing to do in the second oldest's mind was to keep the younger company. Nobody should be alone on Christmas even if it wasn't officially Christmas yet.

When it was only the two members left at the dorm, Minho could tell his dongsaeng was rather gloomy. Figuring it must be because he was still stuck working when everyone else was free, he just made sure to be there for Jisung in case he wanted to rant. After making dinner for both of them, Minho offered the rapper a movie marathon but the younger declined. "Sorry, hyung, but I'd rather take a shower and go to bed. I'm pretty tired", Jisung smiled sheepishly, placing his plate into the sink. Giving his dongsaeng a quick side-hug, Minho nodded: "That's okay, how about a sleepover? Our roommates are all out and I don't think I can sleep all alone." – "You don't have to go to bed early just because I'm going to bed early, hyung. I mean, yeah, we can share a room but you can stay up longer and just join me when you feel sleepy", Jisung muttered, feeling a bit guilty for busting the mood. "It's fine, I'm pretty sure I'll get really sleepy if you give me some cuddles", Minho beamed, "How about you stay in my room? Hyunjin, Seungmin and I hung up dozens of fairylights and other glowing Christmas decoration, I'm sure you'll like it." – "Uh-huh sure, I'd love that. I'll just go and take a shower real quick", the rapper hummed, starting towards the bathroom, while Minho cleaned the dishes.

Truth was, Jisung hadn't been feeling his best lately, the stress of their busy pre-holiday schedule catching up to him. His head had been a bit achy all day already and he absolutely hated the thought of having to go to the company building tomorrow, when no one else had to. Not that he'd wish any of his friends to have to stay back but it still felt a little unfair. Laying out his softest pajamas, Jisung went into the shower and sighed in relief when the warm water washed over him. He hadn't noticed until now, how sore his muscles had become. Going to bad early certainly wouldn't hurt.

Showering hotter than intended, the bathroom soon filled with steam, making the rapper's nose run. As Jisung felt increasingly more exhausted, he clumsily washed up, and turned off the water, giving a soft sniffle. He couldn't suppress a shiver when stepping out of the shower and hurried to wrap himself up in his towel. Probably just being a bit overworked, the boy didn't question why he felt so low and instead got himself ready for bed. Though he didn't really want to force his hyung to go to bed early, cuddles still sounded nice, especially now that he couldn't seem to get warm again. He shouldn't have showered that hot, getting used to the hot water temperature, his surroundings would inevitably feel cold in comparison. Still sniffling, he slipped on his pajamas and thoroughly dried his hair with his towel before shuffling to Minho's room.

The older had already been waiting there, scrolling through social media till his dongsaeng joined him. "Woah, you really look ready to sleep now", Minho noted, "Get comfy and I'll turn on our Christmas lights." Mumbling a tired 'thanks', Jisung crawled under the blanket and curled up tightly in hopes of suppressing the tiny shivers running down his back. After switching on the Christmas lights, illuminating the room with a cozy glow, the dancer got into bed next to his friend and opened his arms for the younger. When Jisung snuggled up to him, Minho could feel the boy shiver and hummed: "Do you feel cold, Sungie?" – "A-A little maybe?", the rapper admitted, trying to press himself closer to his hyung. Worriedly resting the backs of his fingers against Jisung's forehead, the older stated: "You do feel a bit warm to me. I think you might have a fever. Are you feeling alright?" – "I'm fine", the younger breathed, closing his eyes, "I just took a hot shower because I felt a bit achy, so my skin is still heated up from that and everything feels cold in comparison. Just cuddle me and I'll feel warm in no time." Minho of course, obliged without question, stroking his friend's damp hair till the boy drifted off to sleep.
