With the Christmas celebrations getting closer, Stray Kids were planning their holidays with their families. This year, Chan and Felix actually managed to arrange a flight to Australia and were more than hyped to be visiting their families at home again. They'd have to leave the following day and were busy packing for their trip, while the other members still had another week till they'd travel home to their families. While the two Aussies spent most of the day in their room doing some last-minute preparations, the other members set about decorating their dorm for Christmas. Sure, none of them would be there over the holidays but they wanted it to be cozy on the days leading up to their break too. While Chan and Felix would start their break a little early, the rest of the group would still continue to practice but their schedule was really lax, so they'd get home earlier and could actually spend some time relaxing at the dorm after their practice sessions, which was why they wanted it to look festive there too. They had even gotten a fake tree, which the two maknaes decorated before getting Hyunjin to put the tree topper up. They'd also have more time to cook when getting home early, so Minho searched up some seasonal recipes, wanting to treat himself and his dongsaengs.

Changbin and Jisung had just come back from a trip to the mall, having bought a dozen string lights and candles to illuminate the living room. They were greeted excitedly by Hyunjin, Seungmin and Jeongin, who rushed to help their friends put the string lights up. With a fond smile playing on his lips, Minho took a few pictures of his friends as they struggled if the decoration, Changbin pouting when Hyunjin had to take over because he couldn't reach something. It was truly hilarious. They didn't mind going on a break a bit later than Chan and Felix because they knew the two Aussie hadn't gotten the chance to go home for a long time and with how slow their schedule would be leading up to their break, it wasn't like they'd be stressed or anything, dancing and singing more for fun than anything else. Maybe they'd also have the time to bake some seasonal treats, not having to worry about their diets too much because it was Christmas.

By the time Chan and Felix exited their room, the others had finished decorating and dinner was almost ready, courtesy of Minho and Seungmin. The two Aussies were in awe at how their dorm had transformed in a matter of hours and joined Changbin and Jisung in taking pictures in front of the tree as they waited for Minho and Seungmin to finish up in the kitchen. The group enjoyed their last dinner together before they'd split up for the holidays and discussed having a movie night after dinner. Sure, Chan and Felix didn't exactly want to stay up late but they did want to spend as much time as possible with their friends before having to leave early the following morning, so they agreed watching at least two movies with the others before going to bed.

The members finished their meal and did the dishes together, so they'd be able to finish faster before settling in for their movie night. They turned on the string lights and lit a few candles, their faint glow illuminating the room, giving it a warm atmosphere as the friends cuddled up under their favorite blankets, sharing some candy. As promised, they did watch two movies together before Chan and Felix headed off to bed, the others deciding against a third movie, instead getting ready for bed too. The mood was light as they wouldn't have to get up early the next morning, their schedule only starting in the early afternoon, so none of them were really in a rush. Most of them continued to talk about their holiday plans after turning off the lights, reminiscing childhood memories of Christmas celebrations that had stuck to them even years later. Chan and Felix had gone to sleep like they had planned, just like their roommate Changbin, who didn't want to keep them up before their flight, Jeongin also fell asleep pretty fast while his roommate Jisung continued to watch videos on his phone for another hour. Minho, Hyunjin and Jisung continued to talk for almost two more hours after turning off the lights but eventually fell asleep too, the dorm growing silent.
