No one's POV.:

It had been almost a week since Seungmin had come down with what seemed like a particularly bad cold. While he himself insisted, it was only a cold and that he'd be fine working through it, the rest of the members had their doubts. The vocalist's cold had come seemingly out of nowhere, one second, he had been fine and the next, he hadn't and the fact that he pretty much instantly started to run a temperature, only raised their suspicions, that maybe, Seungmin was sicker than he let on. As long as he didn't agree to be sick enough to take time off though, there was no mercy for him in regards of schedule. With a longer break coming up, they were drowning in work, rushing from one event to the next. Holiday photoshoots, interviews and recording Christmas songs, along with their normal dance practices, were already challenging for the healthy members but for Seungmin it was hell. Chan had already banned him from dance practice only two days into his sickness, firmly stating that the second youngest wouldn't participate in long hours of physical activity as long as he had a fever. The only times he'd let his dongsaeng dance were when they performed one or two songs on TV after an interview, which would be less than ten minutes of dancing but with how intense their choreographies were, they were more than enough to raise Seungmin's fever and leave him dizzy.

The hyung-line especially had started to keep a closer eye on their dongsaeng, trying to discreetly help him where they could to make things just a tad bit easier for him. When their day ended with another two to three hours of dance practice, Minho convinced Chan that he wouldn't miss much if he skipped practice today and instead took Seungmin back to their dorm. The younger wouldn't participate anyway and would truly benefit from an early bedtime. Seungmin didn't even register what his hyungs discussed and simply trudged along when Minho linked their arms and pulled him in the direction of their dorm. The poor boy looked dead on his feet, especially after not getting a proper night's rest for the past week. He was coughing a lot, especially at night, which always kept him up. If he did manage to fall asleep, he'd be plagued by endless nightmares, tossing and turning, which left him even achier than he had been before going to bed. Seungmin didn't even notice they had already arrived at their dorm, when Minho crouched down and undid his laces for him, afraid the younger would get dizzy or pass out if he had to bend down.

"How does a nice, warm bath sound?", the dancer offered, "You must be so sore after being out and about all day and I bet you'd sleep a lot more comfortable after washing up." Seungmin shrugged tiredly. Yes, he was sore and he'd probably be more comfortable if he could wash off all the sweat that had soaked his clothes over the course of the day, a clear reminder that his fever hadn't gone down in the slightest. On the other hand, the vocalist just wanted to crash already, not having the energy left to do anything else. "Come on, hyung will run you a bath and get you some clothes to sleep in. You don't have to really do anything", Minho promised, aware that his dongsaeng wouldn't be able to stand in the shower, as every minute he had to stand on his own two feet drained him of energy he didn't have to begin with. Too exhausted to fight, Seungmin allowed his hyung to drag him to the bathroom and plopped down on the closed toilet lid. His eyes closed on their own accord as he rested his pounding head in his hands. Faintly, he could hear the tap running, the tub slowly filling. Minho chose a relaxing lavender scented bubble bath, wanting his dongsaeng to sleep a bit better than the previous night. He had contemplated using a eucalyptus bath-salt to help the vocalist's cough and maybe soothe his muscles but he remembered the younger complaining of nausea at some points during the day and didn't want to use a too strong scent.

Turning off the water, Minho checked the temperature to make sure it wouldn't raise Seungmin's fever but still feel comfortable before brushing the hair out of the vocalist's face to catch his attention. When his dongsaeng looked up at him with glossy eyes, Minho rested his palm against the younger's forehead, cupping his cheek with the other. "Your fever's still just as bad", he cooed, stroking the boy's flushed cheek with his thumb. His soft and caring voice being enough to bring his dongsaeng to tears. Seungmin's emotions had been riding a rollercoaster all day, changing faster than anyone could predict. It wasn't too surprising, considering the fever and the lack of sleep, but still, it was concerning. Seungmin's breath hitched with a quiet sob, a hot tear trailing down his cheek, making his hyung frown: "Ssh, it's okay. Why don't you remove your contacts first, hm? Aren't your eyes burning?" The younger nodded, forcing himself up on shaky legs, hobbling over to the sink. Minho wrapped the boy in a back hug and steadied him, while his dongsaeng struggled to get the contacts out of his swollen eyes. By the time he was done, his legs had reached their limit, giving out underneath him. Luckily, the older caught him around the waist and eased him back onto the closed toilet. "Alright, let's get you out of those sweaty clothes and into the tub. You do the pants and I'll help you with the sweater?", Minho offered, holding on to Seungmin's shoulders. The vocalist nodded, struggling to get his pants down to his knees, from where Minho had to take over. Then the dancer carefully peeled away the damp sweater, making the younger whimper. His skin felt so sensitive.
