Little: Felix

Caregiver: Hyunjin

No one's POV.:

Growing up with two sisters, Felix had always envied them for the beautiful dresses they could wear. His family was very open minded and his sisters let him try on their clothes if only for fun and his mother would do his makeup for him when they attended costume parties. Still, Felix knew he could only wear those things at home and even there, it got weird once he entered puberty. Over the years, he had come to accept that he was expected to dress more masculine and tried his hardest to do so, so he wouldn't feel estranged. Things got weird when he came to Korea though. The kpop industry often experimented with different clothing styles and boys too were allowed to dress cutely. At the same time, the country was rather conservative and choosing his outfits felt like walking a tight rope. The fans would either celebrate him for looking adorable or be disgusted by him not dressing masculine enough and it made him anxious to try and predict people's reaction to his style. Dressing cute and maybe even a bit too feminine for other people's liking, reminded Felix of his childhood, of playing dress-up with his two sisters. It made him feel so much closer to his headspace.

His littlespace, also something he had to worry about. How would his friends react to finding out that he thought and acted like a toddler from time to time? Afraid of the other members looking down on him or being disgusted, Felix did his best to hide his headspace from the group. He was doing a pretty good job at first till one day, he messed up. Hyunjin and him were practicing a new choreography together but considering how little sleep they had gotten over the past weeks, both dancers were struggling. Their muscles ached and Felix was hit by frequent dizzy spells, the exhaustion finally taking its toll. Having neglected his littlespace in favor of working for quite a while already, the Aussie was nursing an intense headache but didn't deem it necessary to tell his hyung about it. He knew he'd feel better once he got a chance to rest and slip into his headspace but for now, he was determined to continue. Sadly, with his little-side already rising to the surface, the burning in his muscles had a much stronger impact on him. The pain made him emotional and when another dizzy spell hit, knocking Felix to the practice room floor, the fight was lost.

The little sat on the floor, his eyes still slightly out of focus as he panted. A tear dripped from his eye, then another as he looked down at his knee. The fall hadn't been that bad but Felix had bruised his knee and it was the straw that broke the camel's back. Worrying his dongsaeng might have seriously injured himself, Hyunjin crouched in front of the other and cooed: "You okay, Lix? What hurts?" A harsh sob tore from Felix throat at his friend's soft and caring tone and not having it in him to form words right now, the Aussie made desperate grabby hands at Hyunjin, who was quick to provide him with a much-needed hug. Though Felix eventually calmed down, it was obvious that they were done for the day. "How do you feel now? Do you think you can stand?", the older asked carefully, offering the other a hand. The Aussie nodded hesitantly and allowed his hyung to pull him to his feet.

Felix hadn't said a single word since his fall and it was scaring Hyunjin, who had no way of knowing what was going on inside the other's head. As he knew Hyunjin was pretty open minded, growing his hair out and enjoying to draw or paint, Felix figured the older would be one of the safest options when it came to telling someone about his headspace. The little tiredly plopped down next to his bag and uncapped his bottle, gulping the rest of his drink down. When he looked up, he found Hyunjin examining the bruise on his knee, trying to figure out whether the injury was serious and had to be checked by a doctor or if it would be enough to get the younger an icepack once they were home. Felix nervously reached his hand out to his hyung, tugging on the other's sleeve and mumbling: "Lixxie need chu hewp. Pwease nuh hate Lixxie and jus' wisten." - "Why would I hate you, Lix?", Hyunjin frowned, sitting down next to the other and pulling him into a hug.
