Sickie: Hyunjin

Caregiver: Changbin

No one's POV.:
Changbin was at the studio with Chan and Jisung when the leader's phone rang. Minho was calling. Apparently, Hyunjin had come down with a cold a few days ago, which Changbin hadn't been aware of. He had barely seen his boyfriend due to them having different schedules and now hearing the younger was sick caught the rapper off guard. He figured that it had to be bad if Minho was calling Chan about it. "Bin, I think you need to go to the practice room and collect your boyfriend", the oldest sighed after ending the call. Changbin's stomach dropped. He hadn't expected it to be this bad but why didn't his hyung seem to be bothered? Noticing the younger's worried expression, Chan explained: "Don't worry too much, Binnie. It's just a cold but Hyunjin is being stubborn and refuses to rest. Minho tried to make him stay home but he refused, now him and Felix tried to convince him to go back to the dorm because he's not well enough to dance but he's still refusing. Minho just thought he'd listen to you and if he doesn't, you have the permission to drag him back to the dorm." Changbin just shook his head, vividly picturing the fight his boyfriend was putting up. The dancer had always been stubborn, so he wasn't too surprised that the younger had found himself in that situation once again. When they weren't dating, it had been Chan's task to order Hyunjin back to the dorm but now things were different. "Can I stay with him? Not that I want to skip out of work but I'm pretty sure he'd either sneak right back out or just dance in the living room", Changbin sighed. Chan nodded, chuckling: "Totally agree. He's not going to rest willingly, so please make sure he stays in bed."

After Changbin bid goodbye to Chan and Jisung, he put on his jacket and made his way to the practice room. Pushing the door open, he found the three dancers arguing. While Minho was already pissed off at Hyunjin's stubbornness, Felix was still talking softly to him, trying to talk him into going home, luring him with a hot shower and his soft bed. Hyunjin wasn't having it though, irritated that his friends didn't believe in his ability to work through this cold. "Jinnie, they know that you could push through this but they also know that you shouldn't", Changbin smiled, wrapping his arms around his taller boyfriend from behind, "Come on, I'll take you back home." Turning around in his embrace, the dancer couldn't believe his boyfriend had turned on him too now. When did he even get here. He pushed the older away and pouted: "I'm fine, everybody catches colds and we always work through them, so why are you all making such a fuss about it now? Can't we just dance?" – "Oh wow, I feel so rejected. Why does it hurt so much right now?", Changbin frowned, clutching his chest, "I just want to spend a nice afternoon with my boyfriend but he'd rather dance. Alright, I see how it is." The younger looked at him confused before shaking his head and shooting him an annoyed look. It might have looked more intimidating if his nose hadn't taken on such a pinkish shade and his eyes weren't watering like they were now. "I know what you're trying to do and I will not fall for it", Hyunjin argued, turning to the side coughing into the crook of his arm. When he spoke again, his voice sounded a bit scratchy: "Hyung, I love you but both of us have work to do." – "My only work is to take my sick boyfriend home", Changbin denied, "If I decided to just throw you over my shoulder and carry you to the dorm, Chan would have my back, so don't test me."

After a short staring contest, that only lasted a couple of seconds, Hyunjin dropped his gaze to the floor and nodded. He was too tired to argue further, besides, he hadn't really seen his boyfriend over the course of the past week and spending some alone time with him didn't sound that bad. Patting his shoulder, Changbin wished Minho and Felix fun for the rest of their practice session before slinging Hyunjin's bag over his shoulder and taking the dancer's hand. Apart from Hyunjin's frequent sniffles, they walked in silence till Changbin spoke up: "So, what have you been up to the past week?" The only response was silence, so the rapper glanced over to find his boyfriend's eyes closed, his hand lazily in front of his face. "h-gsh! huh h- hkshhu! *sniff* ugh. We've pretty much been dancing all week", Hyunjin sniffled, running his sleeve under his still itchy nose. "Oh wow. You must be so sore then", Changbin frowned, wrapping his arm around the younger's slim waist. The dancer nodded, slightly leaning into the touch. Smiling, Changbin pulled him closer and promised: "You an take a long hot shower soon, might loosen your muscles some." – "Mhm, sounds nice. Haven't really felt warm in a while", Hyunjin admitted, giving a soft cough. "Sorry to say but that sounds like you're running a fever, which is exactly why dancing was a pretty bad idea today", the older pointed out, rolling his eyes. Why couldn't his boyfriend take a break? The dancer shrugged, muttering: "That might explain why my head hurts." – "Gosh, you're unbelievable. I'm really glad Minho called for me to take you home and you better listen to me. I'm in charge of you because you refuse to rest", Changbin said exasperatedly.
