Today the deadline for the production of their new album was finally over, so after a meeting with their managers, they would have the rest of the day to relax. All of them have been working hard lately to finish recording and editing their new songs, so they were really looking forward to a relaxed afternoon. Entering the studio to check their work once again before meeting their managers, the mood was light. It all changed when Chan started the computer and opened the file of their new album. Everything seemed fine until he started reading out the titles, noticing one of the songs was missing. Getting nervous, the leader searched the computer in case he had just saved it in the wrong file, while the group watched tensely. After almost ten minutes of search, the oldest had to conclude that the song was gone. Whether it had been deleted by accident or on purpose, they didn't know. All they knew was that it wasn't there, though by the time they left the studio yesterday, it was still open. Maybe somebody had closed it without saving it properly first. But who would have access to their studio? The only people who knew the code were the Stray Kids members themselves.

"Guys, the track is gone. I don't know why but it's gone", Chan frowned, closing the computer. The boys paled, they only had half an hour before having to present their new album to management but they didn't have a complete album anymore. All the stress and hard work of the past weeks for nothing. Changbin scratched his head, asking: "Hyung, it was still open yesterday when we left right?" Chan hummed in confirmation, biting his lip. "Well, then somebody must have touched it after we left. The only ones with access to this studio are the eight of us, so who was in the studio yesterday afternoon?", Jisung concluded. Hyunjin stepped forward stating: "It couldn't have been one of the dance-racha, Minho-hyung, Felix and me have been in the practice room all evening and only returned to the dorm for dinner." – "Jeongin couldn't have been here either because I took him out for ice cream once we were done here and he has been with Changbin, Jisung and me the entire afternoon", Chan added. That left only one member. Putting his hands up in defense, Seungmin frowned: "Don't look at me like that! It wasn't me either." – "Hm, didn't you record your Day6 cover here as soon as the studio was free?", Jisung asked, studying his dongsaeng's expression. The vocalist looked terrified but defended himself: "Yeah, I did but I connected my laptop and didn't touch that computer, so no it was not me." – "Well, it could have been an accident when you disconnected the computer and connected your laptop", Chan sighed, rubbing his face, "I'll have to call our manager and explain what happened, hopefully they'll give us more time, so we can redo the song."

The members waited in silence, while Chan left to make the call. Seungmin looked around but the others refused to make eye contact with him. "Guys, please believe me, I didn't do anything. I don't know why it's gone but it wasn't my fault", the vocalist pleaded. His friends couldn't really think he would be that careless. The only one looking up was Changbin, who frowned: "You know, it really hurts that all the nights we spent here stressing out were in vain. I understand that it probably was an accident and that would be frustrating but okay if you just apologized for it. Lying doesn't make it better, Seungmin. Do you think we work ourselves into the ground for fun?" The younger looked to the ground and shook his head. His hyung was obviously waiting for an apology but Seungmin didn't see why he should apologize for something he didn't do. The uncomfortable silence was soon broken by Chan, who returned and shoved his phone in his pocket, announcing: "The meeting isn't cancelled, so we really need to get going now. We have to show them what we got so far and then they'll tell us whether we get more time to redo the song and how much time we can have." Nodding sadly, the members gathered their things and made their way to the car, that would take them to meet their managers. The tense atmosphere was suffocating and the only members who really talked on the way, were 3racha, who discussed whether they might have a backup saved somewhere but had to come up empty handed.
