levi's apartment
draped in a maid's black-and-white attire, you made your way back into the living room. you clutched your school uniform tightly to your chest like it might slip through your fingers if you let go.
the uniform felt oddly snug, tailored too perfectly, even though it wasn't your usual style. the black dress ended just above the knees, the fitted bodice and flared skirt adding a touch of playfulness. the crisp white apron with its frills and lace tied at the back, high collar fastened with a bow that sat nearly at the neck.
"how do i look?"
the president, who'd been observing out the window, dragged his eyes over you with that signature sharpness, like he could see right through the fabric and the layers beneath.
you swallowed hard, awaiting his judgment.
"presentable. grab your bag and follow me upstairs."
the line was less a suggestion and more an order, one you obeyed without resistance. you followed him, the soles of your shoes creaking against the wooden steps.
"watch your step."
something was unsettling about how quiet everything felt, how your nerves were buzzing under the surface, but you said nothing.
when you reached the landing, levi turned the handle and pushed the door open, revealing the interior of his room.
it was as immaculately arranged as the man himself, like chaos had never been allowed to cross the threshold.
levi shrugged off his blazer, slinging it over the back of his leather swivel chair. as he turned toward his desk, he began unbuttoning his shirt.
you weren't sure what made you look, but you did, and you couldn't look away. the fabric parted, revealing smooth, unblemished skin beneath. it was...disarming. like seeing something you weren't supposed to see.
and, of course, he noticed. because levi always noticed.
