the familiar smile answered for him. soft and fond, it curved across his lips as a glimmer of amusement danced in his blue eyes, betraying that he'd anticipated your reaction all along.

before your thoughts could collide into anything coherent, a blur of red hair burst into view. petra materialised behind him, hands gripping his shoulders with triumphant pride.
