eren's manor

"levi! put me down! i can walk by myself!"

despite your objections, levi's grip remained burly as he carried you into the house. when at last he set you down, the chill of the marble floor bit into your bare feet, vertigo blurring the line between tequila and the man standing in front of you.

beyond the walls, the party raged on, though you scarcely heard any of it. the only sound that pierced through the haze was the frantic rhythm of your heart, pulsing against the pressure building in your chest.

"levi," you murmured, uncertainly."have you been drinking?"

he studied you for a while before finally replying,"only a little."

levi hadn't intended to drink tonight. but after seeing you in that damn bikini, after witnessing every pair of eyes in the garden drag over your body, he found it was the only way to keep the gale inside him under control. the only way to calm the urge to act on what he'd been feeling.

"you're reckless," he remarked, fixated somewhere beyond the windows."drinking so much. but i guess i've come to expect that from you by now."

you bit the inside of your cheek, feeling a little regretful now."it wasn't that much..."

he didn't seem to be listening. he remained distracted, jaw muscles bucking as though he were holding back something. some frustration, a feeling he couldn't let out just yet. until he did.

"i don't forgive you."

your soul plummeted."w-what—?"

he stepped closer."what would you do if i said that?"

annoyance flared in you, propelling you to shove him lightly."there you go, teasing me again. you always do this! we were just playing a game and now you—"

"that game," he cut in,"i didn't like it."

you halted, puzzlement taking over."w-what?"

"the way you were lying there in front of all the guys...who knows what they were thinking?" he grumbled in irritation."i didn't want to see you like that, (y/n). that's all."
