somewhere outside wall sina

the journey to your date destination stretched longer than you'd expected, the road winding beyond wall sina and deep into the untouched countryside.

with each passing mile, trost's rooftops slipped away, replaced by rolling hills and distant meadows. the wind carried an earthy scent of damp soil and wildflowers in bloom, filling your lungs with freshness.

each turn of the road sent you clutching tighter to levi's torso, an intoxicating mix of anticipation and mystery, as if he were guiding you toward a secret only he knew.

at last, levi rolled the bike to a halt atop a secluded hill, the hum of the engine disappearing. in its absence, the world around you came alive. leaves danced and hidden creatures in the wild expanse trilled.

levi swung his leg over the bike before turning to you, gently helping you down.

"we have to walk from here," he explained, reaching for your hand, which sent an immediate spark through your veins.

in his other hand, he hoisted a woven basket, its contents concealed—an enigma that stirred your interest.

with a smile, you allowed him to lead you forward. the path under your feet was uneven, the cool blades of grass brushing against your legs as you moved through the untamed beauty of the hillside.

after a short trek, levi came to a stop.

"close your eyes," he instructed, the faint squeeze of his hand melting your reluctance.

trusting him, you complied, surrendering to the darkness behind your lids as he guided you onward. every subtle change in terrain, each incline, became amplified, your senses sharpened by uncertainty. finally, he stopped once more.

"you can look now."

with bated breath, you opened your eyes; and before you appeared a sight so awe-inspiring it didn't feel real.
