Chapter 10

I wake up alone in my bed, I get up stretching before changing into some leggings, sports bra and a tank top before adding some running shoes "oh you're up" Theo says while walking out the bathroom in a towel scaring me "oh crap" I say "you forgot I was here?" He asks "yes and you need to leave" I say and he frowns "but why?" He asks

"I told you that was a one time thing, you need to go" I say throwing his clothes at him "I didn't think you meant that" Theo says and I roll my eyes "Oh I did, and listen when I tell you that YOU NEED TO GO" I say loudly as he begins to get dressed "you don't want anyone to know do you?" Theo asks as I begin to sneak him out of the house "trust me, I don't need anyone knowing" I say "anyone knowing what?" Steve asks

"Steve" I say surprised "is he bothering you?" Steve asks and I nod "you know what, he is" I say as Steve crosses his arm over his chest looking down at Theo who was much shorter than him "I'm leaving"  Theo says while walking out "did you do something stupid?" Steve asks "how's Sharon?" I ask changing subjects "I'm actually going on a date with her tonight" Steve says and i nod "that is good on you" I say tapping his chest

He grabs my wrist as I try to move my hand before he pulls me closer to him and rests his hand on my hip "she asked and I didn't want to say no" Steve says and I let out a small laugh "you don't owe me an explanation Steve" I say getting out of his grasp and walking away "we are just fooling around" I repeat "who are you fooling around with?" Natasha asks coming out of her room

"You slept with Theo" she says before I can say anything "you did, Penelope" she says concerned "I don't love him anymore, it just happened in the moment and I kicked him out this morning" I say as we walk into the dining room for some lunch "Steve's going on a date" Natasha says "I heard" I say smiling "it's good on him, he never goes out" I say

"She really is gorgeous, and those leggings" I hear Bucky think, I look up at him and smile as tuck my hair behind my ear innocently. His eyes are fixed on me "are you listening to me?" Natasha says and I turn to look at her "no" I say honestly "I said, do I have to rip Theo into pieces? I can't believe you actually allowed him back into your bed" she whispers angrily "I told you it's not going to happen again Nat. It was a moment of weakness, and he's really good too" I reply

Natasha rolls her eyes "Maybe I should've made a move, she would've been with me instead" Bucky thinks "actually Bucky I wouldn't have" I say turning to look at him "Oh I'm sorry" he replies "no harm in just thinking right?" I ask "I didn't mean-" Bucky says and I smile "I'm kidding Bucky" I say with a laugh which Bucky returns "so Steve's got a date" Bucky says changing subject "he does, he seems excited about it" Natasha replies

"Yes he does" I say with a smile just as my phone begins to ring "hello?" I ask while Natasha looks at me confused "it's Theo, what do you say to getting drinks tonight?" He asks and I laugh "I told you last night I wasn't thinking right Theo, and I'm not allowed out of my dads watch anyways" I say "hang up" Natasha mouths "maybe I'll come by" Theo says "no you will not" I say hanging up the phone

"The guy from last night?" Bucky asks and I nod "he thinks coz we hooked up last night I will go running back into his arms" I say grabbing a cup of juice "but you will not" Natasha says and I nod "what did he do?" Bucky asks "he cheated on me, with the girl Steve's going on a date with" I say awkwardly "oh ouch" Bucky says and I shrug "why would anyone ever want to cheat on her? She's perfect" Bucky thinks

"Thanks Bucky but I'm far from perfect, it was just a dumb mistake. My father was right to get mad when he found out about me and Theo" I say with a shrug "I know you have heard um, awkward thoughts maybe. But we could be friends" Bucky says and Natasha smiles at me "I would like that" I reply "plus I would like a friend other than Steve and Sam" Bucky jokes and I let out a laugh
