Chapter 38

My father grabs a flip phone out of his pocket "Did Steve give you that?" I ask and he nods "I thought you were mad. You carry it around?" I ask "Don't shame me" My father says and i smile "I think it's pretty cute" I say with a shrug "You know what isn't cute though? You let me spend 2 years looking for him with FRIDAY and all i had to do was take that stupid flip phone and call him" I say "It kept you occupied" My father says

"It kept you occupied" I mock him in a childish voice "You're 25 and you're still acting like a child" My father says as i cross my arms over my chest just as an unusual rumbling happens "Did you?" Bruce asks me and i shake my head "Wasn't me" I say, we look up at a Hulk looking whole on the ceiling and see a spaceship, we all run outside trying to help anyone we can on the way "Holy shit that is one ugly son of a bitch" I say looking disgusted at the two aliens coming out of the ship

" Hear me, and rejoice. You are about to die at the hands of the Children of Thanos. Be thankful, that your meaningless lives are now contributing to-" The alien says and i just look at him still disgusted "I'm sorry, Earth is closed today! You better pack it up and get outta here." My father says "Dude where's your nose" I say still confused by his appearance

"Stonekeeper. Do these chattering animals speak for you?" The alien says "Excuse me" I say shinning my eyes as my father grabs my arms keeping me from taking another step "Certainly not. I speak for myself." Dr Stranger says and form magical shields from his fist "But you're trespassing in this city and on this planet." Dr Strange says "It means get lost Squidward" I snap 

"She Exhausts me" the alien says "Bring me the stone" He says to the giant "Banner, what a piece?" My father asks "It's time for the other guy" I say flying slightly above the ground "No, not really, but when do I ever get what I want?" Bruce says "That's right" My father replies, Bruce attempts to grow but only his neck goes green

"Bruce?" I ask "Been a while. Good to have you, buddy." My father says " I just... I need to concentrate here for one second. Come on, come on, man." Bruce says "Where's your guy?" My dad asks "I don't know. We've sorta been having a thing" Bruce says "We have no time for a thing Bruce" I say "I know" Bruce says letting out a loud grunt which honesty made me laugh 

My father and Dr Strange look at Bruce in disbelief "Dude, you're embarrassing me in front of the wizards." My father says "Tony. I'm sorry. Either i can't or he won't" Bruce says stuttering "It's okay. Hey, stand down" My father says and turns to Wong "Keep an eye on him. Thank you" My father says "Plus we have a Penelope" My father says and i smirk 

"Whenever you're ready" I say smiling, my father taps his chest attachment and which builds his suit entirely "Woah" I say impressed as the alien comes closer to us "Nellie?" My father says as i push the alien backwards a little and my hits him too sending him flying back "Don't call me that" I say weirded out "Why not?" My father asks "Steve's nickname" I say 

"So?" My father asks and i tilt my head "So it's what Steve called me, all the time" I say awkwardly "Oh ew" My father says grossed out too just as the alien sends my father flying up in the air before attacking us with trees "They feel things you know, don't just rip them out of the floor like that" I complain putting my hands out and making the roots tie against him 

"Dr. Banner, if the rest of your green friend won't be joining us...." Dr Strange says sending Wong and Bruce through a portal and closing it just as my father returns "Gotta get that stone outta here, now." My father says "He ripped out trees?" My father asks looking at me "I know" I say disappointed "It stays with me" Dr Strange says "Exactly. Bye" My father says and looks at me

We fly away and the alien follows us "Hey dad remember that time in New Yo-" I begin to say just as the giant hits me with my hammer and sends me flying back into a truck "What is it with these damn trucks" I groan struggling to get up "Are you good?" My father asks while fighting the giant "I'm fine" I say flying back up to help him just for him to be hit too 

"Seriously?" I say to myself while using my powers to pick up cars, constantly throwing it at the aliens around me who hits me with a car himself "You ugly son of a bitch" I say hitting him harder. He grabs a truck and i shake my head "No" I say using my powers to crush it into a ball and throw it at the alien, i feel something stick to my side and pull me just as the alien threw way too many bricks 

"That would have hurt" I hear Peter say "Peter" I say giving him a hug "We can do this reunion later" I say creating a shield "We need to keep the wizard safe" I say to Peter as the alien flies back to where Dr Strange is "There look" I say, the alien throws a couple of poles and traps me against a building "Penny" Peter says "Go, protect the wizard i got it over here" I say and he nod, i watch as my father zooms past 

"What the hell?" My father asks and i smirk "I got it" I say unbending the poles from around me "Except Peters on that ship dad" I say looking up, we look at each other and fly up "Stay" My father says as i become breathless "Go, you need to get Steve. Take command while i'm gone" My father says and i nod while he flies up

I fly back down and find Bruce "Your dads phone" Bruce says handing it to me with a short now. I call "Tony" I hear Steve's voice "Hey Cap we need you" I say
