Chapter 52

I open my eyes "Come on baby wake up" I hear Steve say "Steve?" I croak out "Oh thank God" He says pulling me onto his lap and holding me closer to him "What happened?" I say looking around "The headquarters got attacked" My father says and i frown, we all get up and walk out of the wreck to see Thor staring at Thanos "Is that Thanos?" I ask confused 

"What's he been doing?" My father asks "Absolutely nothing" Thor replies "Where are the stones?" Steve asks " Somewhere under all this. All I know is he doesn't have them." My father replies "So we keep it that way" Steve says "You know it's a trap right?" Thor says 

"Do i look like i care? That son of a bitch took my family from me" I say angrily "Good. Just as long we are all in agreement." Thor says sticking his hand out, Mjolnir comes flying over. I step back as it almost hits me in the head "Are you crazy that would- woah" I say looking at Thor who was now looking decent again

"Let's kill him properly" Thor says "As you wish God of Thunder" I say with a smirk as we walk down towards Thanos "You could not live with your own failure. And where did that bring you? Back to me. I thought by eliminating half of life, the other half would thrive. But you've shown me that's impossible. And as long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those that are unable to accept what can be. They will resist." Thanos says 

"Yes. We're all kinds of stubborn" My father says "You see I'm a Stark married to a Rogers, we come that way" I say with a shrug "I'm thankful. Because now, I know what I must do." Thanos says while standing up " I will shred this universe down to its last atom" Thanos says as he puts on his helmet "And then– With the stones you've collected for me, create a new one. Teeming with life, but knows not what it has lost but only what it has been given. A grateful universe." Thanos says as Thor lights himself up

"Born out of blood" Steve says "They'll never know it. Because you won't be alive to tell them." Thanos says and i use my powers to send him flying back "You talk too much" I say as he stands back up "Did you just throw the first punch?" My father asks "First of many dad" I say while flying up 

We all begin to fight. I open a crack on the floor which Thanos falls into before continuing to shoot fire at him "Elements, impressive" Thanos says before jumping up and throwing a rock at me causing me to fall down to the floor and tumble "At least" I say with a groan "It wasn't a goddamn truck" I say trying to fly up again 

Just to see Thanos using my father as a shield against Mjolnir "Seriously?" I say while picking Thanos up and throwing him again. Thanos gets up running towards me only to be attacked by Steve who gets slapped away and then by Thor who continues to get seriously beaten up by Thanos "You let him go" I say flying towards him

"I knew it" Thor yells, i look over to see Steve with Mjolnir in his hand "That was hot" I say with a flirty smirk only to be pulled down by my legs by Thanos making me scream as he swings me from side to side "That's Hulks move bitch" I say shooting at him again only to be thrown back against the wreckage 

"Ouch" I say pushing myself off the floor and limping towards them again, i watch as Thanos' army appears from the sky "This is about to go to shit" I say to myself, that's when a see a yellow portal appear. I know that portal. Sam flies out "No" I say happily while running towards them "Sam" I scream happily, he waves at me from the sky 

Other portals begin to appear revealing every hero who was snapped "Where are they?" I ask looking around seeing Dr Strange, T-challa, Shuri, Wakandian soldier and Okoye appear "Oh if it isn't the royal swine" I joke to T-Challa who gives me a playful wink "Where are they?" I ask again "Right here" I hear Bucky say from behind me 

My eyes tear up as i turn around "Oh my god" I say running to them and embracing Victoria, Bucky and Peter in a tight hug "You've gotten old" Peter says "Son of a bitch" I whisper while pulling away "We got a fight to get to" Victoria says grabbing my hand "Let's do this" I say smiling "Try not to die again, that hurt" I say with a wink before flying up with Victoria

"AVENGERS" Steve screams while summoning Mjolnir "Assemble" He says as we all charge towards Thanos' army

"Is that a wedding ring?" She asks as we let go of each others hand and begin to shoot at any alien that comes our way "It is" I say smiling "You married Steve?" Victoria asks and i nod "Five years ago" I say "It's been five years?" She asks "Yes it has" I reply "Remember the thing?" I ask "Of course" She replies while grabbing onto my hand again

We combine all our powers together sending every alien around us flying "Pepper?" I ask looking to my side "You got a suit?" I ask in awe "Your father" She says and i let out a laugh "And the kids?" I ask "they're fine" She says and i nod. Pepper flies away and we see all the women gathering together 

"Let's go" I say as we fly towards them "Peter get up" I say with a laugh while helping him up "I don't have stuff to swing on" Peter says and i roll my eyes, i send massive rocks flying into the air and give him a small wink "Thanks" He says as i turn around and begin to fight with the other women

That's when the army begins to turn to dust "What the hell?" I say confused while flying up again "No" I say seeing my fathers red suit on the floor leaning against something, i glance at Peter who is on his knees in front of my father. I fly there quickly "What happened to him?" I ask tears filling my eyes 

"Hey– Mr. Stark? Can you hear me? It's Peter. Hey. We won, Mr. Stark– We won, Mr. Stark. We won. You did it, sir. You did it" Peter says "Dad?" I ask falling to my knees "I'm sorry - Tony - " Peter says hugging my father, Peter gets up slowly and Pepper joins me on the floor 

"Hey" Pepper whispers "Hey, Pep, Penny" My father croaks out, i sit there in silent, crying "FRIDAY?" Pepper asks "Life functions critical." FRIDAY replies, my father smiles with tears in his eyes "Tony. Look at me" Pepper says, i grab onto my fathers hand 

"We're gonna be okay. You can rest now." Pepper whispers, my father glances over at me "It's okay dad, we'll be okay" I whisper and with that my father's arc reactor flickers off, i continue to sob looking over my father until i feel someone picking me up from the floor. I look up to see Steve, i burry my face into his chest and continue to cry
