5 YEARS LATER

"Anthony, Bucky" I call out as I walk into the garden "it's time for dinner boys" I say watching my twin sons run towards me from the docks, they hug my legs with a laugh "are you hungry?" I ask looking down "yes" they say in unison "is daddy home?" Anthony asks "he will be home soon" I say smiling guiding them inside to the dinner table "hey how are the boys?" I hear Natasha say while walking in "hungry" I say with a smile while placing their sandwiches in front of them

"Where's Steve?" Natasha asks "he went out for another one of those meetings" I say glancing over at her "you really didn't have to build a house 20 steps away from the headquarters" she says and I smile "I thought it would be good for all of us" I begin to say "Anthony Peter Rogers you do not throw juice at your brother" I say annoyed "you guys are wonderful together" Natasha says grabbing the weeding picture framed from mine and Steve's wedding "thank you, I just wish we got to share it with more people" I say

"Bucky Victor Rogers" I yell "I can't leave you boys for a damn second without it turning into a damn war" I say running over to my boys who were now beginning to fight "damn" they say in unison and my eyes widen "no no, don't say that. That's aunt Nats word" I say impulsively "does that mean we can't say it?" Bucky Victor asks and I nod "you two are too young to repeat everything mummy says" I say kneeling down in between them "you also shouldn't fight babies, you should stay together" I say smiling

"Mummy" Anthony Peter says and I look at him "did you ever have siblings?" He asks and I glance at Natasha sadly "I did" I say with a short nod and tears in my eyes "I had a big brother and I a twins sister too" I say smiling "you remember what you were learning it the other day with daddy?" I ask "about the snap and the bad man?" Bucky Victor asks and I nod "they were a victim of it, most of our family was. Auntie Nat still tries to keep the work safe. With the help of some of our friends which you have met too" I say and they nod

I hear the door open and Steve come in "Daddy" they boys say in unison and run to Steve, Steve kneels down and picks them both up "hello boys" Steve says before giving me a kiss "Hello wife" he says with a goofy smile "husband" I reply "you guys will never get tired of that huh?" Natasha says and I laugh "oh no way" I reply "is it my day?" Steve asks referring to tucking them into bed "yes sir" I reply "they need to shower too, been playing outside" I say "well you enjoy your time with Nat, I'll be back a little later. Come one boys" Steve says walking away with the boys

"He's great with them" Natasha says and I nod "he is" I reply "wine" I suggest and she smiles, I grab us some glasses and some wine and we head to the living room "have you seen your father?" She asks and I nod "yeah, the boys spent last weekend there with Morgan" I say with a small smile "they love her, it's great. I will never hear the end of naming one of my boys Anthony, my dads ego? Way too high" I say with a small chuckle "yeah you really did that didn't you?" Natasha asks and I nod

"How is it going up there? Any news?" I ask "well Rocket emails me way too often, everything else is overly normal, it's getting frustrating. I miss the adventures we had" Natasha says "I do too, I think the last time I used my powers was to split up a fight" I say with a laugh "they're great though" Natasha says and I nod "I couldn't have been lucky" I say "have they developed powers?" Natasha asks "no, do you think they will?" I ask

"I mean, super soldier dad and hydra experimented mom" Natasha says and I laugh "that's very true" I say rolling my eyes with a smile "they're tucked in" Steve says from the boys room "give me a second okay?" I say and Natasha nods, I get up and walk to the boys room. I walk to each bed and kiss them on the forehead "goodnight boys" I say smiling "night mommy" they reply in unison, I glance up at Steve with a smile as we turn the light off before walking back into the living room

"How is Tony?" Natasha asks "he is great, they're great and really happy with Morgan" I say "he still doesn't want to see most of us though" Natasha says and I nod "has he seen Steve after the wedding?" Natasha asks "no" Steve replies "he asks though, every time I bring the boys there" I say "but still, nothing?" She asks and I shake my head "I love my life, but I do miss everyone" I whisper "we all do darling" Steve says and I nod "you know, I'm going to head up" Natasha says "no stay" I say and she smiles before looking at her phone

"I'm going to have a conference call soon with Carol, Rhodes and Rocket. Come by tomorrow with the boys?" She asks and I nod "okay" I say and she smiles before leaving "some very needed alone time for us then" Steve says taking my wine glass from my hand and setting it on the coffee table "very needed" I whisper moving closer to Steve and kissing him passionately grilling onto my waist "let's take this to the bedroom" Steve says and I nod

We head straight to the bedroom to see both boys laying on our bed "did you guys have another nightmare?" I ask with a frown as they nod innocently, me and Steve share a look but smile brightly before laying in bed with the boys in between "I love you" I say "I love you mommy" the boys reply "I love you darling" Steve replies
