Bridie

This is a trap, he's going to hurt me again. I don't want to be hurt, I just want to live. I didn't do it, I didn't hurt poor dinah. Someone else did. I just went to get her medication.
I haven't slept and Im so tired. dannon is here. I'm afraid to sleep. He keeps telling me he isn't here to hurt me but after what he did I can't believe that.
Hearing a knock at the door, I sat back against the wall. "It's okay bridie" here comes his men. this is when it'll all end. My entire life will be over. putting my head back down to my knees, I didn't want to see what was coming.
"Dannon" "angelic, callan" "where is she?" No I don't want this, I need to get out of here. I need to run.
"Bridie" I shook my head "bridie its angelic" "angelic help me get out of here please" "no one is going to hurt you bridie, we are here to help" "I need to leave, I need to run" feeling something touch me, I hit it away. "Hey it's okay nothing is going to happen. Can you look at me please?" Raising my head angelic was looking straight at me "nothing is going to happen sweetheart. I know you are scared but I promise you this is not a trick. We are here to help you" "help me get out of here" "I want you to come back to los Angeles with me" I shook my head "I don't want to die angelic. I didn't do it" "hey, nothing is going to happen. We know you didn't do it. Do you remember jamee?" I nodded "jamee did it, Dinah left dannon a letter" "dinah didn't survive" angelics face dropped showing sadness "no the cancer got the better of her" "she didn't die on the floor?" "no sweetheart, she wasn't able to speak after the fall but she left dannon a letter telling him the truth of what happened. You need to believe me okay" I just stared at her. Angelic has never lied to me.
"Dannon is not here to hurt you. He wants to help you, he wants to apologise. he has always loved you bridie but he was blinded by anger" "he wants to.. he wants to kill me angelic" "no he doesn't sweetheart. I promise you. I would not be here if he wanted to. He feels really bad for what he had done and he wants to help you bridie. do you trust me?" Do I trust angelic? How can I trust anyone. I was blamed for killing dannons mother all I did was try to help her and he hurt me. Looking at angelic, I shook my head "I don't know" "I can understand you feel that way but think about this. If dannon wanted to hurt you, do you think he would wait this long" she's right if he did want to hurt me he would've done it by now but then again maybe he is just waiting for the perfect time.
"You look tired" I nodded "you haven't slept?" "no I.." "you are scared" I nodded "will you come back to los Angeles with me?" I looked behind angelic to see dannon and callan both in a quiet conversation.
"They are planning something" "do not worry about them bridie. if you are worried we can go back in your car. I will drive while you sleep. You need sleep and to eat" "you are going to help me?" "Yes sweet heart that's all we want to do is help" "he's going to leave me on the side of the road" "dannon is not coming with us, he has his own car. It'll only be you and I in the car" I nodded "you'll come?" "please don't let them hurt me angelic" "they won't. Where is all your stuff?" "the bathroom" angelic nodded and stood up "please don't leave me here with them" "I'm just going to get your stuff okay?" I nodded then put my head back to my thighs.

"Bridie are you ready to go?" I nodded.
Standing up, dannon and callan both looked at me "angelic" "it's okay let's just go".
Starting to walk behind angelic, dannon spoke up.
"Angelic what are you doing?" "We are driving back to Los Angeles" "I'm coming" "you are both taking your own cars. I am driving her car and bridie will be getting some rest" "angelic" "callan that is what is happening. end of story".
"Come on bridie" feeling angelic touch me, I flinched "hey it's okay".
"Which one is your car?" Pointing to my car, angelic walked towards it while I stopped. "Bridie?" "I.." "it's okay. it's just going to be you and I" I nodded then slowly walked to the car.
"Rest in the back if you want so you can lay down" "okay" seeing angelic put my bags in the front, I sat down in the back. I wasn't sure if Id be able to sleep. Im fearful of what's going to come. I trust angelic but dannon and callan I don't know.
"Rest up. When we get back to los Angeles you can eat" "I'm not hungry" "I want to see you healthy" "they are going to follow us?" "We are going back to my house. You will rest there. If they want to come near you,I will make sure they don't unless you are comfortable with it" I nodded.
As soon as angelic started to drive, I laid down. Angelic has never done anything to hurt me in the past and I know she won't hurt me now. Closing my eyes, I rested like angelic told me too.

"Bridie" opening my eyes, I instantly sat up.
"We are here?" "yes. come on let's get you inside and into the guest room before everyone gets back" I nodded.
Getting out of the car, I seen the two other cars come up the drive way.
"Come on let's go" walking with angelic, we walked inside her luxury home. Nothing has changed one bit. Pristine white walls black modern hall table, the hallways are very spacious too. "Let's go upstairs to the guest room, it has a bathroom in there too if you'd like to get clean" I nodded.
Walking into the room behind angelic, I looked around. the room is spacious with a dark brown wooden king bed with matching drawers.
"Is this okay bridie?" "thank you angelic" "you are more than welcome. I will give you time to freshen up while I go make some food for you" "you do not have to do that" "yes I do, you need to eat" I nodded "thank you angelic" angelic put my bags down. "There is some towels in the bathroom. I will make sure no one comes in okay" I nodded.

As soon as angelic left, I sat down on the bed. The tears pouring out of my eyes. Im in dannons best mates place. what the hell am I going to do?. I can't run from here. I trust angelic won't hurt me but dannon and callan I'm not sure. I don't know if I can trust them.
Hearing a knock I spoke.
"Come in" "bridie" "no" "bridie please, I'm not going to hurt you" dannon moved closer, his dark eyes never leaving mine "bridie I am not going to Hurt you, I promise. I'm so so sorry for what I did to you. You are the woman I have always loved. I was just angry and I didn't think" "you..you hurt me dannon, you tormented me... You hurt me. The scars.." "I know bridie and I'm so sorry. I promise Im not going to hurt you, I only want to help you" he's lying he's going to hurt me. But angelic also said If he was going to hurt me, he would've done it already. I don't know what to believe or who to trust. He hurt me.
Seeing dannon move closer, I moved back "please dont hurt me" "I'm not going to hurt you bridie. I know you are frightened, I know you are worried but I promise you I'm not going to hurt you" I shook my head. He.. he hurt me, I loved him and did everything I could for him and dinah and he hurt me. "I did everything I could for you and for dinah, I didnt hurt her. I loved her" "I know bridie, I know" why is his voice breaking? is this just a trick to make me believe he isn't lying. Slowly getting off the bed, I kept my eyes on dannon. his dark eyes. I needed to make sure he didn't come closer.
"Where are you going?" "For a shower" he nodded "please know I'm not going to hurt you bridie" "you did, you want me dead" "NO" I stopped in my tracks "I don't want you dead bridie. I want to look after you. To show you how much I am sorry and how much I love you.." "I need to go" walking into the bathroom, I closed the door.
