"This is way too much Charmaine, my arms are going to drop off" "put it in the car. we'll go get some food and a drink" "now that sounds good".
putting the bags in the car, we walked into angela's cafe "dannons shout" I just shook my head. "What can I get you?" "Two lattes and.. one salad roll" "make that two" "what do you want in it?" "Everything beside pineapple" "and cucumber" "meat?" "Ham" "chicken" "eat in or take away?" "Eat in" "sure that'll be twenty eight" tapping the card, I put it in my purse then in my bag.
"There's a good table" "I'll be glad to sit then head home" "we have only gone up half the street" "that's plenty. we have been out for hours and I need to go home" "you'll be fine" "I'm going home after I eat" "argh fine we'll go home" I internally grinned.

"Your lattes and your meals" "thanks" "can I get you anything else?" "no" "no thanks".
"Geez woman be nice" Charmaine grinned "I was being nice" "you were not. Use your manners" "yes ma'am, sorry ma'am, thanks ma'am" "you are welcome now shut it and eat" Charmaine laughed.
"Has everything been going alright since you have been back?" "I have my ups and downs" "well that's expected especially after everything but us women are tough especially you" "thanks Charmaine"
Finishing our meals we both stood up and walked out "let's get out of here" "yes I need to get home" "you can empty out that wardrobe" "nope" "it's awful" "it's comfortable, I do not need to impress anyone" "you need to impress that man" "no I don't. he knows what I have underneath" hearing a gun shot then feeling a pain rip through my shoulder, I dropped to the ground. Everyone was screaming and running away. hearing another, I got another pain in my side making me let out a small cry of pain. "Bridie" Charmaine pushed me beside the car on the curb. "Charmaine get my bag" "shit Bridie are you.." "get my fucking bag" Charmaine moved quickly pulling the bag across the ground. Feeling inside it, the gun sat at the bottom. "Call dannon" "what.." "do it. put him on loud speaker" I was struggling to lift my arm and move due to my side but I need to find where the shots came from and protect myself. Looking at the reflection in the window, I couldn't see anyone coming behind the car. "Charmaine" "dannon listen to me.." "bridie why are you.." "I fucking said listen to me. I'm in the avenue sitting beside a blue camry. Charmaine is going to meet apollo at angela's cafe" "no I'm not" "Charmaine don't argue with me, go. Dannon I need you to get down he.. argh fuck" getting a shot to the left arm,  I looked to my left raising my gun. looking straight at nicholas who was now standing in front of me, i pulled the trigger three times making him fall to the ground. "Bridie" "I need you here" "stay on the phone" seeing nicholas move, I aimed it at his leg and shot him. I don't know where Charmaine went, I'm just hoping she did what I told her.

I need to move, I need to get up and get out of here. Holding the phone, I grabbed my bag and pushed myself up the car hiding the gun. 'shit' Hearing sirens, I looked at the alley way and headed towards it. I felt sick, The pain was excruciating. Pushing forward, I got to the alley and slowly walked down. "Bridie?" "Dannon" "I'm on my way" "I'm down the alley" "what alley?" "Ahh I don't know. I needed to move I could hear sirens" "near the blue camry?" "Yes" "where are you shot Bridie?" "Left side waist, right shoulder, left arm I feel.. I feel light headed" "apply pressure to your waist" "I can't" "find something god damn it" Theres nothing around 'my bag' dropping beside the wall, i put my bag to my waist and pushed my body against the wall. Dannon

I knew she was starting to lose consciousness. her voice kept getting lower then high again before she started extending her words and sentences. Pulling up in maple, she continued to talk as I ran through the alley towards the avenue. Seeing her sitting with her side against the wall, i pocketed my phone "just a" "Bridie" "dannon.." "come on baby" picking her up, I grabbed her bag that was between her and the wall then ran back to the car with her in my arms not caring about any one else. putting her in the back seat, I grabbed my jumper tying it tight around her waist putting pressure on the wound. "Bridie" "I need sleep" "not yet" "dannon.. I'm.." "you are beautiful".
Grabbing my phone out, I put it on loud speaker so I could deal with Bridie as well.
"Dannon" "where are you?" "The avenue" "I need Charmaine to run through the alley way near the blue camry" "char.. Charmaine" "Bridie keep talking. stay with me" "shes on her way. How bad is she?" "Three shots. one to her waist, shoulder and arm. Bridie" "hmm" "speak to me" "I will be there In a minute".
"Dannon I love you" "you can tell me that later" "I will" I grinned. Taking my shirt off, I ripped it in half tying it around her arm. "Dannon" "Charmaine get in, apply pressure to her shoulder with this. Just keep her awake, I need to get her home" "okay".
"Apollo" "I heard I will meet you there".
Fuck I need to get her home As quick as possible. It's a fifteen minutes drive and I only have five to ten.
Not caring about anything else, I swerved in and out of traffic until hitting the highway and put my foot to the floor. I could hear Bridie and Charmaine still talking but Bridie was fading out. Getting to the drive way, I kicked the car out sideways then up the drive before stopping next to the door.
"Charmaine move" Charmaine jumped out and I grabbed Bridie. "Say.. say please.." I chuckled "more important things right now. I will say please and thanks later".
Rushing her to the down stairs guest room, apollo, gabriel and miles came running in.
"Shit" "you all know what you are doing, do it" "dannon.. it hurts" "I know. Im sorry. you can hit me later" concentrating on the waist gabriel and miles did her arm and shoulder. "Bridie, did you hit him?" "Yes" "how many times?" "Four" "where?" I just needed to keep her talking. "Bridie where did you hit him?" "Leg.. chest.." "where else?" "Chest.." "you said that" "twice" "where else?" "Stomach" "good I hope he is dead" "he wasnt moving when I seen him" I nodded at apollo. "Bridie what did you do today?" "Shopping" "did you like it?" "No" I grinned as apollo Chuckled "are you going to go again?" "No" "why not?" "Its.. it's a waste of money" everyone Chuckled. "Did you go anywhere after shopping?" "Hmm.. yeah.. to the.. to the" "Bridie you can't sleep yet. talk to me" "I'm tired" "where did you go after shopping?" "For.. for lunch" "where?" "Angela's" "what did you get?" "Coffee.. a roll" seeing miles and gabriel had finished, I relaxed a little "who paid?" "I did.. Char.. Charmaine said it's.. your shout" I chucked as I stitched up the last bit of her side "I will have to speak to her about that then" "okay.. can I.." "yes Bridie" seeing her close her eyes, relief swept through me.
"You did well keeping her awake dannon" "yeah. Thanks all of you" "you don't need to thank us, we are family" "if I don't say thanks she'll kill me" the guys laughed.
"I think you should move her to your room" "I need to wash the blood off of her first then I will move her" "why don't you just leave her in here?" "It's near the foyer And the bathroom" "what... Oh" I nodded. Walking out, I grabbed a wash cloth from the linen cupboard then wet it in the bathroom before going back to the room. Gabriel and miles had left but Charmaine had come in. "Sorry about before" "no I completely understand" "please" Charmaine grinned "don't want to get in trouble huh?" "no I do not". "How is she?" "We managed to keep her awake until we were done. she'll be fine" "good" "you might need to go get your car" "yeah we better, we'll be back soon" "that's alright, I'm just going to move her to our room" "good idea".
