"morning" "morning, sleep well?" "a few more hours than last night. You?" "Yeah I did. How did the chat go last night?" "it was short but I need to call the psychologist today to see if he will travel out here" callan nodded "did she tell you anything of what we discussed?" "No not really. I didn't ask either" "she doesn't think she can go back San Diego" "why?" "Too many memories but the one she mentioned was.." "of my mother?" callan nodded "they were close and I know it hurt her seeing my mother injured" "yes and she didn't get a chance to help her" " I know".
"Morning you two. are you hungry?" "Yes hun" "yes thanks" "alright, i will make some breakfast. Do any of you know if bridie is up?" "Haven't seen her" "okay, if she does come down, let her know I'm in the kitchen" I nodded.
"Any business today?" "No not at this stage I have already arranged everything to be done" "do you need a hand with anything even around the property. Keep myself busy" "I'm sure there's something, ask angelic" I smirked "alright".
"Morning" seeing bridie jump she then relaxed "ahh morning" "angelic is in the kitchen if you would like to go see her" bridie nodded "thankyou".
Bridie left and I couldn't help but watch her.
"Very jumpy" "yeah she is but I don't blame her" "we'll get her back to the way she was" "I hope so. After breakfast I will give the psychologist a call" callan nodded.

"Here you go" "thanks hun" "thanks angelic" "we'll join you in a minute" "bridie is going to come sit out here?" "Yes" I nodded as I internally grinned.
Seeing bridie and angelic come out, bridie sat on the other side of the table, one chair down from being opposite of me.
"What are you two doing today?" "Is there anything that needs to be done around the property?" "Plenty. you two can start with the fencing" callan grinned shaking his head "I knew you were going to say that" "then you know what needs to be done. You haven't been around the house much and while you are home, you can do it" "alright hun, we'll get it done".
"Bridie would you like to help me out in the garden?" "Yes I'd like that" "it'll keep us busy then maybe we can go rest in the pool" bridie only nodded but I could see something was eating at her. Thinking about it for another minute I knew what it was, her scars. She won't want to show them. I did this to her, Im the one that's at fault.
"Thank you for breakfast angelic" "that's okay" bridie stood up grabbing her dish then walked to the kitchen.
"It's a start" I nodded "yeah it is. I'm going to go make a phone call" "to the psychologist?" "Yeah" "alright let me know how you go".

"John loliche speaking" "hi John, my name is dannon. a friend of mine pointed me in your direction" "how can I help?" "A friend of mine needs to speak with someone, she's struggling mentally" "okay well you are looking in the right place" "I need you to travel" "where to?" "Los Angeles, I don't care if I need to pay for your accommodation.. she needs the help as soon as possible and is not willing to go to san diego" "okay that can be arranged. Is tomorrow suitable?" "Tomorrow is fine. I will organise the accommodation for you" "would you like to know the fee for every visit?" "Yes" "two hundred and fifty dollars" "that's fine" "okay. I will see you tomorrow. please send me the address" "will do, thank you" "have a good day, bye" "bye".
I need to let bridie know so she can prepare herself.
Walking back in the house, angelic and callan were in the kitchen.
"Where's bridie?" "I believe up stairs. How did you go?" "Tomorrow he is coming here" "okay".

Knocking on bridies door, I waited until she opened it.
"Dannon" "bridie I just wanted to let you know the psychologist will be here tomorrow" she nodded "thankyou dannon. it will be good to speak with someone" "you can talk to us to you know" bridie gave a slight nod but I could tell she was hesitant.
"I'm going to go help angelic" "are you okay?" "Yeah". I stepped back and bridie walked out closing the door. Going to grab bridies hand she flinched "ahh sorry" she shook her head then walked down the stairs like she was frustrated in her own self. Why did she apologise? She didn't need to. Oh she doesn't want me to feel upset. she is still trying to protect me. Taking a deep breath, I walked down stairs.
"Everything alright?" "Yeah. Ready to go do this fence line?" "yep" "what's wrong with It?" "The tree in the back corner has put pressure on it making about five metres move out of position. Need to cut the tree back and then redo the fence" "alright".
"Chainsaw?" "In the shed, I'm not doing it by handsaw" I chuckled "I wouldn't want to either" "I'm going to hate having you here" "why?" "The more you are here, the more I will have to do the stuff I have been avoiding for so long" I laughed "but with me here, I can help" "you can do it all if you want" "no thanks".
"Let's go get this done then we can kick back with some bourbon" "sounds like a good plan".

While callan cut down the branches that were putting pressure on the fence, I moved the wood to the back of the property near the shed where another pile of wood sat.
"Well that's done let's try straighten this fence" "looks like you are going to need some more palings" "I have some already. they are in the garage" "alright I will go get them" "I will come I will need to get the nail gun" "alright".
Walking back up the property, i kept my eyes on bridie as she helped angelic in the garden. She's beautiful. it doesn't look like she has aged one bit.
"Day dreaming?" "Not day dreaming just admiring" "hopefully you can get her back. she is a good woman" "yeah she is".
"Alright let's grab these palings and the nail gun. I should have some nails in the second drawer over there" having a look in the draw I found a bunch of long nails and grabbed them out. "We are all set" "let's get down there".

"We agreed to this because?" I chuckled "are you going to tell angelic no?" "nope" "this is why we are doing it plus once it's done we can just kick back" "that's true. I'm surprised she hasn't told us there's food on the table" "she will, give it time".
Removing the old fence palings that were damaged, I once again added them to the pile of wood. I didn't see angelic and bridie so they have probably gone inside to make food. Hopefully we can get this done then just rest for the rest of the day.
Crap I need to make a phone call to book accomodation.

"What's the closest hotel to here?" "Ahh the Hyatt why is that?" "I need to book accomodation for the psychologist" "you better do that, that place is always busy" "after this, we haven't got much to go" "well stop talking and come hold the palings" "now I know why you two are married" callan Chuckled.
Getting the palings up, angelic called out. "Coming hun" "she timed that perfect" "let's get these back to the shed then go eat. Do not ask if there's anything we can do" I grinned "lesson learnt".

"All done?" "Yes the fence is fixed" "good where did you put all the wood" "dannon added it to the pile near the shed" "alright. Go take a seat I will bring lunch in". "Where's bridie?" "Bathroom" "oh".

Walking into the dining room, we both sat down. Bridie used to do this for me also. always making sure i ate but she would always attend to my mother first and I admire her for that. I have done everything for myself over the six years and I can say I have been lazy. eating out most nights or ordering in, I could make my own but I hate being in that house most of the time.
Seeing bridie come out, she took a seat at the table but never said anything until angelic came out. "Thank you angelic" "you are welcome. Dig in everyone". Angelic sat down then looked at bridie "you are not wearing that in the water?" "not the pants" "and the shirt" bridie shook her head "no I feel more comfortable with that on" "you should be proud of your body" "hun let her eat" I know why she won't swim with her shirt off. it's all because of what I did.
