Seeing maddox and callan near the steps, I wasn't sure how this was going to go. When Bridie stepped back, I could only imagine the look in her eyes, the one I hate to see.

"Bridie" "Bridie its alright" Bridie looked at callan then behind her at me then at maddox "I.. I'm going to go see angelic" callan nodded. As soon as she walked out, callan spoke "better than last time" "yeah" "all I could see was fear. Im not going to hurt her, I could never do that" the exact look I thought she'd have "I know maddox". "Come take a seat angelic, has prepared some food" "alright".
Moving to the dining table, the three of us sat down.
"Did you get the camera footage?" "Yeah thats why I am here" "it can't be good" "no".
Seeing angelic and Bridie come back out, we all sat quiet. they don't need to hear what's going on. Keeping my eyes on Bridie, she never looked our way just sat on the other side of the table a seat further than normal. my guess is because maddox is here. I hate seeing her like this.

Finishing our meals, Bridie was the first to get up and leave.
"I will go see her" I nodded.
"She's not handling this well is she?" "It'll take time. we've made some progress but far from her old self" "how has she been?" "In fear, paranoid, upset amongst other things" maddox nodded "do you want me to talk to her?" "I don't know if that's a good idea yet maddox" I nodded at callan "I have only been able to speak with her once but angelic and dannon are working on it" "she won't speak to you?" "One on one she will but anymore people than that she feels trapped" "did she speak with John?" "Yes he is coming again tomorrow. Thanks for that" "that's alright, I will do what I can to help" I nodded.
"Now what did you and apollo find?" "It was nicholas" "fuck" "nicholas?" "Yeah that nicholas" "this isn't good, we need to get those weapons back and disable him before it's too late. he is the main distributor and doesn't care who he sells them to. they could end up in anyone's hands" "got a plan?" "Track him by phone, car, what ever it takes it just needs to be done fast" "are you coming back?" Callan looked at me "I can't.." "this is a big deal dannon. I know you want to be here for bridie but this could be deadly" "I know. Fuck" what the hell am I going to do?. if I don't go back to san Diego, things could go sour real quick, putting not only my family in danger but also the public and if I don't stay here, I could lose the progress I have made with Bridie. "We'll be here for Bridie, dannon" "I need a drink" "come on then let's go to the bar".
Walking outside with callan and maddox, I looked out over the patio, bridie was once again down at the pond. John did tell her to spend as much time as she can there.
"Here dannon" "thanks".
"What are you going to do?" "I don't know, there has to be a way I can do both" "you don't want to leave her?" I looked at maddox "no and if I leave now, it could destroy all the progress I've have made with her. But if I stay, things could go down hill fast in san Diego" "bring the men here. we'll make a plan so you don't have to come back" "this is not going to sit well" "angelic won't like it?" "It's not angelic that will have a problem with it" "Bridie" callan nodded at maddox "yeah" "it may be because i came unannounced that freaked her out the most" he could be right. I need to speak with her. "I'll be back".

Walking down to bridie, she was sitting on the chair just looking out at the water again.
"Bridie" "hi dannon" "can I speak with you for a moment?" She nodded.
Taking a seat beside her, I looked at her.
"Are you okay with maddox here?" "Yes I am now" "I need to ask you something" "what is it?" "I have a serious problem that needs to be sorted in san Diego" "you can go dannon" "no I don't want to go Bridie. I want to know how comfortable you will be with my men at the house while we make some plans" "I will be fine" I know she is only trying to make me happy by saying that so I don't worry.
"Now the honest answer" "dannon, I will be fine. you have a business to run and I won't stop you from doing that" "I know but you are what's important" "I'm sure whatever the problem is, is big, otherwise maddox would not have come here and you wouldn't be asking me how I feel about having your men here. You need to sort that out" "yes I do but I want and need to make sure you are okay first" "I will be fine, dannon. go sort out what needs to be done" "I mean it Bridie, if you feel uncomfortable in any way, I'd like you to tell me" Bridie nodded "okay, you better get back up there. you have business to discuss" "alright. Do you need anything?" "No thanks" I nodded and stood up. Putting my hand on her shoulder, I walked around behind her, removing the hair from over her scar, leaving a lingering kiss on it "I love you Bridie" slowly pulling back, I left her to the pond while I headed back up to the patio.
"Is she alright with the men coming here?" "Yeah" "alright let's organise it".
"I will give apollo a call, he can call the rest" "alright".

"Dannon" "apollo, let everyone know they are needed in los Angeles asap so we can work out a plan" "alright will do, see you soon" "you will".
"Give it a few hours and they will be here" "alright. Here's the images from the camera" looking at the photos from the camera it's definitely nicholas I thought he'd be smarter than that parking his car basically right in front of the outside camera but my guess is he couldn't even see it behind The light.
"Well we have his plate let's start with that find out where it's been and where it goes" "apollo is the best at tracking. So until then let's drink".

"What has been happening in san diego?" "Not much. the hotels have been packed like always, same as the clubs. no issues at either. only the warehouse has been accessed" "how did that happen?" "Over night, broke the locks" "alright well we need to find another location but for now is everything in the sheds on my property?" "Yes and no traces" "good, we'll sell it and buy another".

"Do you three need anything?" "No we are set hun" "where did bridie go?" "She was at the pond dannon spoke to her before" "I will go find her" "what do you mean go find her she was just down there" "she's not there now, I will see you guys soon" how did I not see her leave?.
"Angelic, will find her dannon. she won't be far maybe she has gone for a walk" I nodded then took a sip of my drink.
"We should set up the second lounge for the men" "yeah that sounds like a plan, theres only three rooms available and as they are all upstairs, I don't think that would be a good idea" "no one is going to go near her" "all it will take is for them to cross paths with her or catch her off guard to set her off. we are trying to ease her into it" "and you are sure she was okay with the men being here" "she said she will be fine. My guess is she will do everything to avoid seeing them" callan nodded "most likely".
"Let's go get this done".
All of us heading inside to the second lounge, there was angelic and Bridie.
"Oh sorry hun, we were just coming to set up some beds for everyone" "it's alright, Bridie do you want to head out?" "Ahh yeah I need to go do some research anyway" "I will give you that password" "thanks". Bridie and angelic left leaving us to do what we needed to do, although my mind was on her. I'm guessing angelic was talking about the wifi password but what research does Bridie need to do?, is she planning something?. I really hope she isn't planning to find a job, I don't want her to work. I will support her financially. I just want her with me as much as possible to make sure she is okay.
