Seeing angelics car come back to the house, I walked down the patio steps straight to the garage. I needed to know that she was okay, to see where she went not because i don't trust her but it might be a place that she is drawn to.
"Bridie" seeing her slightly jump, I guess she didn't hear me coming "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you" "I was in my own little world" "where did you go?, I was worried" "I needed to get out of here for a while" "that didn't answer my question" "I drove around for a while. Spotting a tattooist I went to have a look" walking closer to her she tensed. Stopping in my tracks, I kept my eyes on hers "I think I should go up stairs and eat" "what's wrong?" "There's nothing wrong dannon" "there is, I want you to tell me" "I don't know how much you have had to drink and I don't know if you are thinking straight. I can smell it on you" "you are worried I'm going to hurt you because i have been drinking?" "I think I should go". "Bridie" turning around maddox was behind me "ahh have a good night" Bridie went to walk away but I made the mistake of grabbing her arm. "no let me go" she flinched and I instantly let go and stepped back as I seen the fear in her eyes "Bridie, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it" she nodded but continued to step back.
"Bridie" Bridie looked at maddox then at me before walking away.
"Fuck" "sorry dannon" "no it wasn't you, it's because I grabbed her arm. I need to sober up. She was right, I'm not thinking straight" "she said that to you?" "No she said she doesn't know if I am thinking straight and that she should go. I should've let her walk away" "where did she go?" "Just for a drive" maddox nodded
"I will meet you at the patio soon, I need to go inside for a minute" "alright".
Walking inside, I knew exactly where Bridie would be but first I need to go have a cold shower and brush my teeth.
Entering my room, I closed the door and headed to the bathroom. Removing my clothes, I then got in the shower, turning the water to luke warm and stepped under. I then turned the water down a little more to cold before getting out and getting dry. Getting dressed, I brushed my teeth then walked out of my room straight up to Bridies room.
Opening the door, Bridie was sitting on the bed.
"Bridie" her eyes met mine instantly but she looked empty. Entering the room, I closed the door and knelt down in front of her "I'm sorry I didn't mean it, I just wanted you to stay" "I know. You had a shower?" "Yes you were right, I wasn't thinking straight. I had a cold shower to sober myself up a bit" she nodded "you said you went to a tattoo parlour?" "Yes I did. troy is going to design a couple of tattoos for me" "your ideas?" "Yes I told him what I had in mind and he said he will draw them then send them to me via email" "that's great Bridie. what do you have in mind?" "The bottom one will be covered by a butterfly resting on a flower and the top two, I decided on two arrows pointing in opposite directions with flowers covering the cross and the words 'keep going'" I couldn't help but smile at the woman in front of me.
"You know you don't need those tattoos" "I would like to cover them" "I know but you don't need them" tracing the scar on her face with the back of my fingers I spoke "you Are beautiful the way you are. I know why you want to cover them and I will support you on your decision. I'm sure the tattoos will look perfect on you" "thank you".
Standing up, I put my hand out "come on you need to eat" "you should be with your men" "no, we have already discussed business. They can drink while you and I go eat" bridie had a soft smile on her face as she put her hand in mine "okay let's go eat".
This is the first time she has let me hold her hand and I don't plan to let go unless I have to. Walking out of the room, we walked down the stairs and into the kitchen.
Angelic looked at both of us "did you have a good drive Bridie?" "yes thank you for letting me take your car" "that's alright. I'm sure you are hungry. I have already prepared some food for you both. the men out the back are already eating" "thankyou" "go take a seat and I will bring it to you" "you do not.." "off you go" I grinned at angelic.
"Looks like we have been told" Bridie nodded with a small smile.
Letting Bridie lead, we walked to the dining room and sat down at the table on the side she normally sits on.
"Why do you choose this side?" "I can see every angle from here" makes sense her back is against the wall. she can see what's coming.
"Here you go you two" "thanks angelic" "thank you, are you eating?" "I have already ate" Bridie nodded "okay".
"She should've become a chef" "she does make good meals" "and loves to cook" "you were the same" "yes but these days I'm just used to making enough for myself and now I am here, I'm not allowed to cook" "angelic won't let you?" "No she is in her aliment in there" I nodded.

"Here you are. I was wondering where you got to. Oh hi Bridie" Bridie instantly sat back as rocco entered.
"Where have you been dannon?, we are all drinking" "I'm eating with bridie" "I'm sure she can come join us" "no" "why not?" "Because I want to spend time with her alone" "come on dannon, how often do we all get together these days?" "you can go dannon" gently tangling my fingers in bridies, I looked straight at her. I could feel and see she was tense "no I want to stay".
"I'll give it a miss, I'm sure we'll have another opportunity" I knew rocco had had a bit to drink but I also know he won't hurt bridie. he is just very full on and Bridie can't handle it.
"What's going on in here?. Oh" apollo looked at Bridie then at me "rocco you coming back out or what?" "Yeah let's get out of here, I need another drink" apollo knew Bridie wasn't comfortable and I'm thankful he got rocco out of here.
"How was your meal?" "Great as always" "I think so too, let's take these back out and head up stairs" "you don't need to do that dannon. I was thinking about watching a movie. You can go.." "no I'm not going back out there" "okay".
Both of us standing up, we grabbed our dishes and took them to the kitchen.
"Thankyou angelic that was delicious" "you are more than welcome you two".
"Angelic, do you mind if I or we go to the formal lounge to watch a movie?" "no go right ahead" Bridie nodded "thanks".
I just want to be in her company, I don't care what we are doing.

"What do you want to watch?" "I have no idea, something with comedy" I grinned "you have always liked your comedy movies" "they are great" "how about who's your caddy" Bridie grinned "alright let's watch that".
Putting the movie on, I sat beside her. To my surprise she leant against me putting her hand on my stomach as I put mine behind her back. This is a good step, she initiated it. Running my hand up and down her back I enjoyed just having her next to me. I don't know how tomorrow is going to go, she has another session with John and it opens up a lot of bad memories I can just hope we don't end up back at square one. Looking at her instead of the television I planted a long kiss on the top of her head. As soon as I did bridie lifted her head her eyes meeting mine. "Are you not happy with the movie?" "I don't care what we watch Bridie I just want to spend time with you" when Bridie connected her lips with mine, I was surprised but definitely not disappointed. Parting our lips i cupped her face running my thumb down her face as she entwined her tongue with mine. I never wanted this to end but eventually one if us will need to break for air. When Bridie pulled away, I kissed her nose then pulled her tight against me. I didn't want to let her go. just hold her as long as I can.
