Eighty six days later.

Dannon

"Ready to go home my gorgeous fiance?" Bridie grinned "as ready as I will ever be. How do you think they will be?" "Don't care, it's not their lives it's ours" "that is true".
Bridie and I have been gone for nearly three months. we didn't want to leave until we were both ready to do so. Two days ago we both agreed we were ready to come back. This trip has done wonders for both of us. There's been a lot of ups and downs in regards to emotions but we did it together. She is my psychologist and I am hers.
We have spoke about every single thing. from the day we met up until now especially about How we were feeling at the time. We now have a better understanding of each other and we are stronger together. We have worked on her fears and doubts. It took a lot of time but by last week she was able to stand in a crowd with out a care in the world and she looked so happy being carefree like she used to be.

"Let's get in the car and go home" Bridie grinned "can we.." "anything?" "You didn't even let me finish. you might not even like what I was going to say" "okay can we what?" "Get a pet" "a pet?" "Yes" "what kind of pet?" "I don't know yet" "you don't know yet and you are asking me" "yeah well I want your opinion" "why do you want a pet?" "Don't know. the thought just popped in to my head" I grinned shaking my head "unbelievable. Get in the car... Please" "of course anything for my fiance" I chuckled.

"Well the place looks the same" "yep although we really need a gardener" I chuckled "yeah".
Pulling up into the garage, I turned the car off and we both got out.
"Hiding the car?" "Nope just parking it" "fair enough. How many messages and calls do you think?" "My bet is thirty messages sixty six calls" Bridie Chuckled "okay I'm going to say forty one messages and twenty three calls" "what are we betting on?" "Who has to make dinner for the next week" "deal".
Grabbing our suitcases, we took them inside, placing them in our room before heading downstairs. "We should really put some music on" "I agree" this all we have done, just been so carefree.
Putting my phone on charge, I turned it on.
"We need to get the food out of the car" "hungry?" "when am I not hungry?" I grinned.
"Well you were closer with the messages but not the calls" "what do the messages say?" "Most of them are where the hell are you two?. when are you coming back?. why didn't you tell us?. Oh this one is going to be good" Bridie smirked "Charmaine?" "Yep" "what's it say?" "She was supposed to have those clothes. I got rid of her crap style. Answer my calls" Bridie laughed "she can keep them" I grinned pulling her close "I love you just the way you are" "good because I am not changing. Let's go get that food" I grinned "kiss first" Bridie pressed her lips on mine then pulled away. "Come on".

"I will message them. I have two more bets for the night" "what are they and what's the deal?" "Who gets here first and when" "the deal?" "Hmm haven't decided but I'm thinking if you lose one of them you can't leave that room for a week" Bridie smirked "and I win one?" "What do you want?" "The same" I chuckled "looks like we both win" "who will bring us food?" "food is an exception" "okay I can live with that".
"Who is your choice?" Bridie grinned "hmm I'm going to say maddox in sixteen minutes" I grinned "andrei in eleven" "send everyone a message and unlock the door before they break it down" I chuckled.
"What should I say?" "Hmm our garden looks like shit. why didn't you weed it?" I laughed "alright I will send that".

"Sent. Time it" putting my phone on the bench I walked to the door unlocking it then back to the kitchen.
"Here you go" "Thank you" "we better eat quick" "yep".
Both of us eating our meals just in time for the front door to open "seventeen" I grinned.
"Where the hell have you two been? We know you went to the damn airport, you havent had con.." "shut it andrei and give me a hug" I chuckled as andrei pulled Bridie in for a tight hug "still upset" Bridie and I both laughed "we are back now so stop complaining" "yeah yeah don't care where have you two been?" "On holidays".
"Oh no you do not" seeing maddox, miles and gabriel come running in, maddox ran straight to Bridie picking her up "about friggin time you two got back".
"Hey dannon, how was the trip?" "Brilliant want a drink?. I'm thinking I better make enough for everyone" "I'll help".
Gabriel and I made drinks then took them to the table. Seeing valen, hendrix, alia and donny come in, I couldn't help but grin. they all said the same thing 'where have you been' "oh have a drink will you" pulling Bridie to me she sat on my lap "here" "thanks" "oh no, you have had her for three months" Bridie Chuckled as apollo and Charmaine come in "yes and I'm having her for life" when everyone turned up, we all sat at the table just catching up.
"By the way Charmaine those clothes were terrible" "they were not" I chuckled. I knew it would stir her up.

Bridie

Sitting on dannon, he had his arm around me while talking to everyone, while I mainly spoke with maddox and andrei.
"Where did you two go?" "To peru" maddox smirked "knew it and look at you, back to your old self" I winked making them both laugh "couldn't be happier, we took that trip because we needed it. What has been happening?" "Nothing. just work. it's been boring. How have you been?" "Pretty good actually that time away was really good for both of us" "I can see that. Not only are you sitting with the entire family with out a care in the world, you also have something very shiny sitting on your finger" "what?" Andrei looked at my hand. "Dannon let her go" "what for?" "Because I need her for a second" "argh" I grinned.
Standing up, andrei picked me up like I weighed nothing and spun me around "I'm so fucking happy for you both" I laughed "I can see that. can you put me down now?" "Yep I got my excitement out" as soon as andrei put me down maddox pulled me in for a hug "you deserve everything good that comes your way Bridie. you both do. Congrats" "thanks maddox".
"Now give her back" I chuckled "been told".
Sitting back on dannon, he pulled me close "haven't had enough time with her?" "No and cut your jealousy Charmaine. Bridie told me you were looking at her out the back" andrei and I cracked up "I was not" "sure you weren't" "I was witness to it" "andrei, shut it" I grinned.
"What have we missed?" "Not us obviously" "did we hurt your feelings hendrix?" "He has to have feelings first" "good point".
It's so good to be back, having the family together with no worries and fear. just pure happiness.

Dannon

Spending quite a few hours with the family, they all left leaving just Bridie and I. It was so good to see everyone but now it's our time. Locking the front door, I turned the lights off then walked to our room.
"Mmm there she is" "I'm just getting some clothes out considering all mine are In bags and the suitcase" I grinned "you won't need them" "is that so?" "Yes I believe it didn't matter who won we were staying in here for a week" "yes that is true but before we do that..." "Oh no.." "nope that water fall needs to be cleaned it has had still water in it for months" "we'll take it out but clean it later" "okay".

"Now that's done you and I need some sleep" "agreed, bloody jet lag" "it's fun isn't it" "yeah.. wonderful" I chuckled at her sarcasm. Both of us stripping out of our clothes, we climbed into bed and I pulled her close like always. "happy to be home?" "I'm happy wherever I am as long as I'm with you" Bridie had a soft smile on her face "I agree. Home is where the heart is and my heart is definitely with you" I grinned then connected my lips with hers.
We may have had our ups and downs but now we are stronger. I couldn't be happier having her by my side. The woman I once broke is now whole again and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
