Dannon

It's tearing me apart seeing bridie being afraid of me, afraid of callan. I knew instantly why she ran up stairs. I was behind her and callan was in front her. she felt cornered. I had to go after her.
Walking in, she pushed herself against the wall with fear in her eyes. I needed to calm her. I need her to feel safe.
Mentioning my mother, I could sense bridie had relaxed a small amount but she was still on edge and I don't blame her.
Looking at her beautiful face, the scar I gave her on the side of her face. it kills me that I did that to her. I dont care about letting my walls down with bridie, I know the tears are traveling down my cheeks. Slowly running my fingers over the scar, she tensed but continuing to move my hand she relaxed "I am so sorry bridie. For tormenting you, for hurting you but never for loving you. I have never loved another woman. I'm sorry for this scar and the others that I know you have. You didn't deserve any of this and If you will let me, I will make it up to you everyday for the rest of our lives" she is letting me touch her, this is a start. she hasn't moved and she has relaxed.
"Bridie" bridie looked past me at the door.
"Are you okay?" She showed angelic a slight nod. I wasn't going to take my eyes away from bridie.
"Are you going to come have some food?" "yes I will. thank you, angelic" "okay, the food is ready" "thank you".
Hearing angelic leave, bridies bright blue eyes met mine again. "I need to go" I nodded. I needed to straighten myself up before walking back down stairs. I will not show anyone else how I feel. Bridie moved from the wall and walked around me. As much as I wanted to pull her back, I let her go. It was a step today and I will not push her too far. Knowing I am good to go, I walked down stairs to the dining room. Angelic and bridie were not there, only callan.
"Everything okay?" "She felt trapped with you in front of her and me behind her" "I guessed that. What happened up stairs?" "I just spoke to her. I'm just trying to instill in her mind that no one is going to hurt her" callan nodded.
"Did you find someone who she can speak with?" "Yes maddox sent me a name and number" "that's good. Has she spoke with anyone before?" "no" "why not?" "Because even after everything I did, she couldn't hurt me" callan had a small grin on his face "No matter what you have done, deep down she still loves you" I nodded "seems that way but I can already see it's going to be a long road" "yeah you are right, it will be. How are you going to handle everything from here?" "Apollo will be. of course any major decisions will go through me" callan nodded "alright".
"Do you two need anything?" "No I am fine thanks hun" "no thanks angelic" "how did you go up there?" "Bridie hasn't mentioned anything?" "No she ate in silence then went out the back" "I will go see her soon" I looked at callan "you think she will talk to you?" "Either way I need to make her feel safe here" "fair enough".

Bridie

Sitting out side just enjoying the night air, I seen callan came out and kept my eyes on him.
"How are you feeling bridie?" "Confused, afraid, nervous" callan nodded "mind if I sit?" He pointed to the seat opposite me and I nodded.
"Have I ever hurt you bridie?" "No" "but you think I'm going to?" "I didn't mean it earlier" "I know and I can understand why you felt trapped. We didn't plan for that to happen. You are safe bridie" "it's just hard callan. for the past six years I have felt like someone has been watching me, felt in fear for my life all because of what happened" "we know but we want to help you. How long have you been in los Angeles?" "Since I woke up in the hospital" "how did you get to the hospital?" "I don't know" "you don't know?" I shook my head "I was just told someone brought me in, never met the person" "a good samaritan maybe" I nodded "I didn't do it callan, dinah was like my own mother" "we know. we all blamed you because dannon didn't question you first and it wasn't until alia found the letter in dinah's room that we found out. We didn't know you were in los Angeles either. it was only because apollo happened to walk into the black cat coffee shop" I nodded "I thought he was going to hurt me" "has apollo ever hurt you?" "No but.." "after everything it's in your mind?" "something like that" "let us be there for you. Especially dannon. he wants to make up for his mistake. It's hurting him bridie seeing you freak out, being in fear of your life all because of what he did" "do you know what he did?" Callan nodded with a hurt expression "yes I do. he let jamee take the easy way out" "jamee is gone?" "Yes she is dead. donny shot her" "why donny?" "Because he knew about what she did and didnt inform dannon until a few days ago" I just sat there silent. I could've been free years ago if he had of spoke up. "F*cking selfish prick" callan looked at me in surprise "you were thinking about donny?" "Yes" "why did you call him that?" "Because the truth could've been out a lot earlier if he said something but he was just protecting himself. I wouldn't have had to go through that ordeal" "when you see him, tell him" "I can't go back there callan" "why not?" "It has too many memories there. just thinking about dinah seeing her laying on the ground bleeding and unconscious kills me" "dannon loves you bridie and you love him" I put my head down "I don't know if that's enough callan. How could he hurt someone if he loves them?" "and that's the reason why you haven't spoke to your parents in six years isn't it, you were protecting your parents?" "Yes" "dannon was doing the same, he thought you had hurt his mother" callan's right "but I didn't. he didn't even give me a chance. I didn't even get a chance to call the ambulance for her. Poor dinah just laid on the floor" callan nodded "I know you are feeling hurt, upset, angry, confused, anxious and probably much more but we want to be there for you to help you. If you will let us" "dannon said he knows some one I can speak with" "yes maddox said we can trust the person. I know you don't want anything happening to dannon and thats why you haven't spoke about it" I nodded "I would like to arrange an appointment" callan had a small grin on his face "we can do that" "thank you".
"Are you going to come back inside?" "I like it out here, it's calming" "yes it is. I will let you enjoy the views" "thank you callan for speaking with me" "you do not need to thank me, you are family bridie we look out for each other" I nodded not knowing what to say to that. Callan got up and left leaving me to just enjoy the views not that I could see much now but just being out here in the fresh air it was relaxing.
Feeling a presence, I jumped out of the chair. looking around seeing dannon standing by the wall, i looked at him. "I'm sorry" I shook my head "I just felt a presence" "is it okay if I come sit with you?" I nodded and took a seat. Dannon taking the seat callan just got out of, his eyes pierced into me.
"You heard our conversation?" "Not all of it but enough to know you want to speak with someone" "it might help. Can you trust this person?" "maddox would not give me the persons number if he didn't think we could trust him" "him?" Dannon nodded "we do not know a female psychologist" I nodded "okay".
"Did you have a good conversation with callan?" "Yes I did in a strange way he showed me why you did what you did" "I will always regret it bridie. you didn't deserve that. I should've questioned you before I.. well before I did what I did" I nodded "I know".
"I'm going to head in side and go to bed" "upstairs?" I nodded "I guess I will see you tomorrow" "I will be here. I'm not going anywhere" "goodnight dannon" "goodnight bridie".
