"Did anyone locate the crate?" "No but I'm sure by now its been emptied. Gabriel nearly got nicholas the other day but he sent a few random bullets his way and took off" "fuck that's not good. we need to get him" "we know we have been trying to track him but I'm guessing he is using other transport now" I nodded.
"Everything else been running well?" "Yeah perfect" "glad to hear it".
Looking at my watch, it was already two thirty "I should go see if Bridie is going to eat" "alright".
Walking up stairs to the bedroom, I opened the door and walked in.
Bridie was laying down on the bed on her stomach. Walking around to see if she was awake, her eyes were shut. Im a fucking idiot for saying those things to her. it's great that she is talking with maddox and rocco and now she feels she can't. I just shook my head. I will speak to her when she wakes up or is laying down in bed with me.
Walking out, I quietly closed the door then headed back downstairs.
"Is Bridie joining us?" "She's asleep" maddox nodded "thought she might do that" "I will speak to her later, she needs to rest if her mind has been running over time". Walking into the kitchen, I grabbed out some ingredients and made burgers for everyone.
Taking them to the dining room, I put them on the table then sat down "dig in" "thanks".
Grabbing a burger off the plate, a scream echoed through the house. "Shit" dropping my burger I ran straight upstairs. Bridies screams only sounding louder the closer I got. Running in, I shook Bridies arm. "Bridie" "bridie come on" Bridie sat straight up and I wrapped my arms around her "hey it's alright" "no let me go" "Bridie listen to me, it wasnt real you are awake. You are sitting in our room" "I don't.." "Bridie open your eyes" feeling bridie relax just a little bit, I tightened my hold on her. She has still been getting the night terrors once a week but some times more and it kills me every time.

Maddox

Hearing a scream come from up stairs dannon took off running. While apollo and rocco just stared in shock before going to move.
"We need to get up there" "no don't" "she could be hurt maddox" "she's not hurt rocco. she suffers from night terrors" "what?" I nodded "it happens atleast once a week. so far no sign of improvement" "since she's come back?" "No she has had the night terrors for six years. She used to have them every day. After a few years they slowed but she still gets them" "there has to be a way to stop them" I nodded "we need to find something that will help" "I don't know if there is anything. medication maybe but if she hasn't taken any by now, I'm guessing she refuses to take them" "how does dannon help her?" "I don't know I never asked" they both nodded.
"Far out not only does she deal with it through the day she also deals with it at night". Thinking about it for a while an idea popped in my head. "Is there a local gift shop somewhere around here?" "I can tell you don't have a partner" I grinned "that didn't answer my question" "yes why?" "Where is it?" "Cedar street" I nodded "what do you need?" "Im going to get Bridie something that I hope will help her sleep" "what?" "A bedside table aromatherapy waterfall" apollo looked at me like I had lost the plot. "the incense can calm her and she likes listening to the water. maybe if she can smell something calming and hear the water, it will relax her while she is sleeping" "now I'm surprised you don't have a partner" I laughed "I don't need one" "sounds like it's worth the try though" "anything to help her".

"How is she dannon?" "Calm at the moment" I nodded "is she coming down?" "No she is laying down again" "alright. Question, is there a scent that calms Bridie or one she likes?" "Why are you asking me that?" "I have an idea but I need a scent" "vanilla or you could try the smell of fresh rain" I grinned "alright. I'm going to go down to that gift shop" "what gift shop and for what?" "I'm going to purchase her a bedside table aromatherapy waterfall" "you think it will help?" "I don't know but it's worth a try" dannon nodded "thanks maddox" "I just want her to heal and sleep" "yeah me too".
"How do you calm her when the night terror happens?" "At first I wake her then hold her tight. She used to just get up and run backing herself against the wall repeating words over and over but I found if I hold her tight and remind her it isn't real until it registers in her mind. It still takes a couple of minutes but it's better than it used to be" "does she fight you on it?" "I don't give her a chance And when she speaks, I cut her off so she can't finish what she was going to say until I know she is awake. I know she is awake when she breaks down" "she repeats what she said to you that day?" "Not always, sometimes its just what she was thinking at the time" I nodded "you said she breaks down?" Dannon nodded at rocco "yeah everytime it registers that she is awake And the night terror wasn't real, she lets the emotions out before going back to sleep" "far out" dannon nodded "it's not easy" "for her or you?" "Both".
"I'm going to go see if I can get her that aromatherapy waterfall" "I appreciate it maddox. I will give you the money" "no keep it. I will see you all later" "alright" "cya" "good luck". I just need to do something for her. she is like my sister that I don't have. I don't want to see her hurting or hearing her scream. I want her to get better and move on.
