Bridie

"Argh far out" sitting up my shoulder hurt, my arm hurt and my waist. Having a look at my side, it was covered. same as my arm and shoulder. 'i need a jumper'.
getting up from the bed, I walked to the closet grabbing a hood jumper and put it on.
Walking out of the room, I could hear everyone talking. He has the family here. I don't know if I can deal with this. It's bad enough I have to get down the stairs and through the foyer. the entire family is here. Taking a deep breath, I made my way down the stairs then stood at the bottom. 'yep everyone is here' seeing andrei look my way he grinned and walked over "how are you feeling tough one?" "Sore, like I have been hit by a ton of bricks and hungry" "so you are fine then" I nodded "give me a hug" moving in, I put my arms around andrei as he did me "not hurting you?" "No more than I already am".
"Shes awake" andrei pulled away from the hug with a massive grin on his face "prepare yourself". Seeing maddox and dannon come over, andrei stepped back "oh no you don't" maddox pushed dannon making him laugh and he wrapped his arms around me "good to see you awake" "thanks maddox" "don't hurt her maddox" "oh I'm not" "ow" maddox Chuckled and stepped back "you didn't swear. I know you are fine" I grinned.
Dannon walked over with a grin on his face "can't believe I have to wait to hug my own partner" I grinned "is that all I get?" "No" dannon pulled me towards him by my right side then pressed his lips to mine then wrapped his arms around me. "Are you feeling okay?" "Sore and hungry" "we will get you some food" "thanks".
"Don't hog her dannon" "shes mine. I can do what I want" I grinned "plenty of hugs to go around rocco" "good" dannon stepped back with a massive grin on his face "I will go get you something" "thanks".
"You like to keep us on our toes don't you" "this is why you don't go shopping rocco" he laughed "I will keep that in mind. Are you sure you are feeling alright?" "Yeah just sore and hungry" "hungry? That's a surprise" I grinned "I need to thank you too" I looked at him curiously then shook my head "she couldn't handle it huh?" "No but I will find one, one day" "you will".
"Are you coming to join us?" I looked behind rocco at the dining room "I don't think that's a good idea just yet" he nodded "you will be alright" "you will" "baron and valen long time no see" "it has been, do we get a hug?" I nodded. Giving baron a hug, I then did the same with valen. "How have you both been?" "Same as always Bridie. How are you holding up?" "I'm getting there" "glad to hear it".
"Who fixed me up?" "Gabriel, miles and dannon" I nodded "I will be sure to thank them" "you can do that now" stepping back from baron and valen they did the same and I looked at gabriel and miles "I believe I have to thank you" they both had a small grin on their face "you don't need to thank us Bridie. thats what family does right? We help each other" I nodded "that we do. I believe a hug would help" gabriel moved in giving me a hug "good to see you awake Bridie" "thanks" pulling away from the hug, I gave miles a hug "you feeling alright?" "Yeah just waiting on food now" miles grinned as he pulled away "I don't know where you put it all" "that's my secret. I believe there's only five left are they all here?" "Yep" "Bridie" moving back from miles and gabriel, apollo and Charmaine came out "thanks both of you" "we didn't do anything" "I'm sure you did" "I avoided getting shot and he drove" I grinned "you also put pressure on my wounds and kept me awake" "yeah that was the worst hearing you talk" "love you too" Charmaine grinned "what the hell are you.." "comfortable clothes, you'll live" apollo Chuckled while Charmaine shook her head.
Seeing alia, hendrix and aziz come out, I looked at apollo "we'll see you soon" "thanks".
"There she is" "alia and hendrix long time" "too bloody long" alia pulled me in for a hug then hendrix "and aziz" he grinned "give me hug" giving aziz a hug, he tightened his hold "missed me?" "No" I chuckled and stepped back. "I see the family is all together again" "it's been a while" "that'll be my fault" "no we understand" I nodded "I will get there".
"Here Bridie" dannon walked up handing me a plate of food and a drink. "Thank you" "are you not coming to join us?" "Not this time hendrix, I'm going to go sit out the back" "okay".
Leaving the guys, I looked ahead at the hallway 'you can do this Bridie just keep going' "Bridie are you alright?" I looked behind me andrei was running up to me "yeah" "can't go down the hallway?" "I can do it" he nodded "come-on I will join you" I nodded. taking a deep breath, i walked down the hallway to the back door.
Getting out side, I sat down at the table with andrei. "Look at you go, conquering your fears" "one step at a time andrei".
"Everyone has been pretty worried about you" "well I'm still here" "a few bullets can't keep you down huh?" "No I had family that helped" he grinned "we all help each other Bridie, you know that" I looked at andrei "all?" "Most" "that sounds about right" andrei smirked "where did you put the gun Bridie?" "What gun?" "The gun you used today?, Did you bring it home?" "no I left it on the street so it can end up in the wrong hands" andrei smirked "I didn't think you would leave it. Dannon couldnt find it, so where did you put it?" I shrugged "dannon said it wasn't in the car nor your bag and he said he didn't see it on you" lifting my leg under the table I reached into my shoe pulling it out and put it on the table "this one" andrei grinned shaking his head "where the hell did you have that?" "Do you really want to know" "probably not".
Grabbing the gun,I put it under the table lifting my leg again and put it in my shoe.
"Who wants it?" "Dannon" "I was hoping you would say donny" andrei laughed.
"What's going on out here?" "I'm eating and we are talking" "and you didn't invite me out?" "I didn't have to. you are out here" "when you finish, we are taking those clothes to the room" "you can keep them Charmaine" "oh no we went shopping for you" "I don't need them" Charmaine looked me up down "I'm taken find someone else" andrei laughed "I was looking at your awful style" "it's fine" "we didn't go shopping for you to wear that" ."no I went shopping to get shot. It was a wake up call to stick with my normal clothes" andrei grinned "cut it out andrei, you are just
encouraging her" "she doesn't need encouragement and I agree she doesn't need fancy clothes" "I don't want to wear clothes that show off my body Charmaine" "why the hell not?" "Because I don't want to see the reminders of what happened" "you got tattoos to cover them" "yeah I did. doesn't mean I have to see them all the time" "why don't you tell the men what they should wear?" "Good luck to her, alia doesn't like make up either" I chuckled "I know but she's off my back" "for how long?" "Enough so I can eat the rest of my meal" andrei grinned.

"Ahh Bridie" looking up from my food at andrei, he looked at me with a warning "what?" "Bridie" looking to my right, hatred ran through my veins seeing donny come out but I kept my face neutral as I looked at him and sat back against the wall.
