It's late again, I'm so sorry! I hope you enjoy anyway!
(It's a lil spicy)
Loki's POV
I didn't want to reply, couldn't reply, so I chose to do what I do best, cause mischief.
"I can see the braids bother you," I said and changed myself to look like an exact copy of Frigga. "Do I remind you of someone?"
Thor gasped and his eyes filled with tears. He took a shaky breath and turned away. "If you're not going to cooperate, then I won't either. Guards!"
Two Asgardian soldiers filed into the room and flanked me on either side. They each grabbed an arm and yanked me to my feet. Blood rushed to my head and suddenly I could feel a throbbing wound where I hit my head. I nearly blacked out and the only thing keeping me from falling was the two guards. The Frigga illusion disappeared.
"What in the world do you think you're doing?" The nurse cried and hurried over to the guards. "Put him down at once!"
The golden warriors glanced at eachother and back at the fuming healer. They reluctantly let me go. I slumped forward and would have fallen if the smaller woman hadn't caught me. She gingerly set me down on the bed.
"Leave us," She ordered the guards and they slunk out of the room.
As soon as they were out of sight she rounded on Thor. "What were you thinking?! He's still injured!"
Thor didn't have a response ready and I could see his excuse falter. She hmphed when he didn't offer a reply and turned to me.
"Now I don't appreciate you and I know the damage you've done," She said. "I especially don't like the fact that you're a frost giant, but you are my patient and I can't let you die before King Odin can get information out of you."
My shock soon turned to appreciation at her fiery attitude and I smiled weakly. "I like you."
She sighed and returned my smile. "Glad to hear it. Leave us, Thor. I shall call you when he has improved."
He sent one last heartbroken look in my direction and left. I took a moment to really look at the healer. She had flaming shoulder length red hair, a white tunic, and black pants. A photograph of what I assumed were her parents, was sitting on the clustered workspace among all the other healing supplies and personal objects.
My breath hitched. I suddenly felt hot and claustrophobic. I needed to switch and I needed to do it now. I hated changing in front of people, but the longer I waited, the more uncomfortable I felt.
"Go ahead," The healer said. "I won't watch."
To prove her point, she turned to face the bookshelves that lined the walls. I briefly wondered how she knew that, but the need to shift was much greater and needed more attention than my wandering thoughts.
I shifted back to male and instantly my discomfort was lifted. I felt slightly dizzy from the use of magic, but I felt better all together.
The woman turned back around. "I'm an empath," She said. "It's what makes me such a great healer. I can feel emotions."
"Interesting," I replied. A question crossed my mind. "Then you know that I'm.. you know?"
"I could feel your discomfort, yes. Although it was quite obvious from the panic attack in your cell and the instant shifting once you were able to use magic."
Her brisk tone softened. "I can feel your anguish too. What ales you? I know it's not physical."
My open-faced expression immediately hardened. "That's none of your business."
