GUYS I LOVE YOU!! This is such a huge milestone, 50 chapters?! That's crazy! All of your support has kept me inspired to write and I wouldn't be here if not for you!
(So sorry about the late update!)
Peter's POV
I felt a tug on my pant leg and took a deep breath to calm myself. I turned to see Loki crouching behind me. He had his hands over his ears. He whimpered at me. I bent down to see him eye to eye.
"I'm sorry for cursing, buddy," I apologized. "Did I scare you?"
Loki nodded, eyeing the heroes behind me.
"They pissed me off, but they are my friends. So how about we don't kill them, yeah?"
He reluctantly dipped his head.
I smiled. "Are you hungry? I know Thor tried to feed you earlier, but did you actually get any food?"
Loki shook his head.
"Alright then. I'll be right back okay? I'm going to go get you some food."
I stood and Loki gave me a little wave. I dragged the others out of his room, while waving back. Once outside I ordered FRIDAY to lock the door.
"How do you have higher access than me?" Tony demanded. "FRIDAY wouldn't listen to my commands."
"I hacked into your system, and gave myself higher clearance than you. It's simple," I replied, walking away.
"Where do you think you're going?" Steve demanded. "You have to explain what happened in there."
"You heard our conversation," I told him bluntly, turning to face him. "I'm going to get him food."
"No I mean about," He paused. "You know the other stuff."
"You heard me."
"You're both boys! It's wrong!" He burst out.
I nearly punched him in the face, but Natasha beat me to it first. He landed on the floor, cradling his cheek.
"Just because you're from a different time period does not mean you get to act ignorant," Natasha scolded. "I'm pretty sure the majority of us here are apart of the LGBTQIA+ community. Including me. I am sure none of us are going to stand for your intolerant behavior."
She turned her back on him. My jaw was dangling open. I was completely shocked.
Natasha nudged me and pointed. Each of them were turning their backs on Steve, coldly leaving him on the ground. The only one who didn't was Bruce.
He helped Steve up, but said, "That wasn't cool of you." Before walking away.
Natasha poked me and I tore my eyes away from the sight.
"Let's go get a meal for your boyfriend."
I shoved her playfully. "Shut up!"
She laughed and followed me out of the room. We met Bucky, Clint, and Thor in the kitchen. Clint and Bucky were both in their pajamas, eating cereal. Thor sat atop the counter eating pop-tarts. His arm was bandaged. I started rummaging through the cabinets.
"What are you looking for?" Bucky asked quietly.
"Something for Loki to eat," I replied.
Thor hopped off the counter and put a heavy hand on my shoulder. "I wouldn't recommend it, Man of Spiders. He attacked me."
I laughed without humor. "I am sick and tired of people telling me what I can and can't do. Everyone underestimates me. Back off, okay?"
Thor respected my boundaries and took his hand off of me.
