This week I feel less like a flaming dumpster fire and more like a regular trash can. How are you lovely readers? Got any suggestions for the story?

Peter's P.O.V

Someone was shaking me. I must've fallen asleep while playing video games. I opened my eyes. It was Clint. I slowly came to my surroundings. Sunlight was filtering through the windows and a couple birds were chirping outside. I felt a weight on my shoulder. I looked over and realized that it was Loki. He was fast asleep on my shoulder. His disguise had vanished.

"What the heck were you two thinking?! You fell asleep in the middle of the living room! This is where the Avengers usually hang out! Idiots! You are so lucky that I found you instead of Cap. He usually goes out for morning runs," Clint whisper-yelled.

He reached over to shake Loki awake but I stopped him.

"He didn't get much sleep."

Clint hesitated, but nodded and stood up. "Let's get back to the room. Bucky is still asleep."

I shifted carefully trying my hardest not to wake Loki. I hooked my arms around him and picked him up bridal style. The controller slipped of his lap and landed on the floor with a loud clatter. Loki stirred slightly.

"Shh!" Clint hissed from a few feet away.

"Sorry."

Clint and I snuck across the living room, our padded feet barely making any noise. He stopped at the entrance of the kitchen and peered in. He quickly yanked his head back as if burned.

"They're in there."

"Who?"

"All of them!" He hissed quietly. I could see the panic in his eyes.

"What are we gonna do?"

I looked down at Loki. He was snoring softly. A protective feeling washed over me and I hugged him to me.

"What if we just walk through the kitchen? Make them think they're hallucinating," I suggested.

"That's a horrible plan!"

"You got a better one? I'm all ears."

He sighed. "Today's the day I die. Let's go. I wanna get back to Bucky."

I raised my eyebrows and went "Ooh!"

"Shut up!" Clint snapped at me, a slight blush dusting his cheeks. "Let's just get this over with."

He started into the kitchen and I suddenly felt scared. I took a steadying breath and followed.

As soon as I walked into the kitchen all conversation stopped. A sense of dread settled over me. Everyone was staring. I scampered up to Clint's side, trying to block myself from veiw.

"I don't like this," I murmured to him.

"I know but we're almost there."

"They're staring."

He glanced at me and said "Of course they are. You handed their asses to them. Plus you have a god in your arms." But he picked up his pace anyway. I stole one last glance at them.

They were all watching us disappear around the corner with their mouths wide open. I almost snickered. Almost. I knew in a few seconds they would get over it and murder us.

"Clint, I'm starting to think this was a bad idea."

"Really what gave that away?" He stopped walking and faced me.
