Surprise! This chapter is extra long! No need to thank me ;)

Also this chapter has severe gory scenes. Just FYI in case you're queasy or something.

Loki's POV

Peter's face morphed from smug satisfaction to fear. He turned and tried to escape. I summoned all of my magical energy and flicked my wrist.

Peter was slammed to the floor and I made sure every part if his body was secure to prevent any other escape attempts. I walked over to him and bent down.

"Are you going to cooperate now?"

I saw the drunk defiance in his eyes and didn't even bother waiting for an answer.

"Well," I sighed. "I'd hate for it to come to this."

I selected a spell book from my magical inventory and it appeared in my hand. I flipped straight to the page was looking for. I quickly skimmed the page.

I placed my fingertips on Peter's forehead, uttered the activation words, and Peter's eyes fluttered closed. I tossed the leather book in the air and felt it return to my inventory.

"Dumbass," I muttered and teleported us both back to the bedroom.

I pulled back the sheets, placed Peter in the bed, and tucked him in. I placed a tender kiss on his forehead.

"I'm sorry, princess. I never wanted to use a spell on you."

Peter sighed and shifted in his sleep. A small smile lingered on my lips as I teleported back to the kitchen, hit with a sudden craving. I opened one of the cabinets, looking for the gummy bears that Peter and I shared when we had a sleepover.

I located them and grabbed the bag. I slammed the door shut and found everyone standing and staring. Some of them looked angry. I glanced behind me and saw the four orange halfs and a puddle of orange juice.

"Oh sorry. I didn't know you cared so much about the floor. Here," I said and waved my hand. The oranges and juice disappeared. "There you go."

I started walking away while opening the bag of candy.

"Are you fucking kidding me?!" Someone shouted behind me.

I turned. "Pardon?"

Natasha was fuming and she started turn as red as her hair. "What the hell was that?!"

"Magic? Would you have you rathered me clean it up with a rag?" I asked, confused to why she was so angry about oranges.

"She's not talking about the fruit you dolt!" Tony yelled. "What the hell did you do to Peter?"

"That was a spell obviously," I told him calmly, knowing the less bothered I seemed, the more it would piss Tony off.

I waved my hand and the leather bound spell book I had used appeared in his hands already flipped to the spell I used on Peter.

"Simple sleeping spell," I explained, feeling like I was talking to a small child. "Don't know why you're so hot and bothered about it."

I chewed on a few colorful bears and waved my hand. The book vanished and I exited the room. I found myself in the living room. Finding I had nothing better to do, I decided to try one of my favorite pastimes.

I sat down on one of the couches and curled up with a book and the bag of candy. I was only able to read a couple of sentences before Clint, Bucky, and a few other pissed off people stormed into the room. The only person who didn't seem to want conflict was Bruce. He stayed at the back of the crowd and stayed silent as the others started to shout.
