This chapter is crappy and late, don't yell at me  T^T

Loki's POV

I should be panicking. The guards were marching closer and closer to the twelve by twelve prison and I should have felt scared, or worried at the least, but all I could feel was excitement and anticipation.

"What are you so anxious for?" The blonde guard asked, pointing at my hands.

I looked down and realized that I was fidgeting with the edge of my tunic. I glared at him.

Blondie laughed. "That's right! I just realized you can't talk. Too bad!"

I wanted to kill him on the spot, but being wrapped in chains with limited magic use, I knew I had to control my anger and pick the appropriate fights to participate in. I decided to respond a different way. What better way to do that then use sign language?

"Excited, not anxious," I signed. "My boyfriend is coming."

"What is that? What are you doing?" The guard asked.

A female with dark braids spoke up from next to us. She was holding a chain that connected to a cuff on my arm. "It's sign language. He says excited, not anxious. My," She faltered when I gave her a pointed look. "Friend is coming."

I nodded and thanked her with a quick sign.

My ears picked up the sound of furious inmates as we got closer to the wing of cells. I started to sign a question but the blond warrior huffed and yanked off the metal guard on my mouth.

"What?" He huffed impatiently.

"Thank you, darling," I told him and saw the lady with braids raise an eyebrow in the corner of my vison. "Are you moving me to a new cell?"

"If you're worried about your little trinkets, they've already been moved to your new cell," He answered roughly.

"I see. May I know why you're moving me?"

"No," He replied agitatedly and our conversation ended.

Our boots echoed against the polished floors. Most of the prisoners quieted down when we rounded the corner, but a few made faces and rude gestures at us as we passed. One even got too close to the barrier and pulled back shouting. I smiled at his lack of knowledge and stupidity. Asgard is known for it's harsh prisons and skillful barriers.

We stopped at an exact copy of my other cell, including the clock and mirror that I had added, and one of the guards stepped forward to open the barrier. The golden sheen evaporated and the warriors unclipped the cuffs and shoved me in.

The barrier flickered to life as soon as I was inside and the guards walked away. I glanced at the people across from me. There were four people, two boys and two girls, and each pair had to share a bunk bed. I was glad I didn't have to share with anyone. I turned away from their curious and judgmental stares and flopped onto my own bed.

I wanted to sleep, but I was still wide awake. I rolled over and glanced at the clock next to my pillow. 8:30 p.m. I sighed and reached over to the bookshelf next to the cot, which was a new addition, and pulled a random one off. I read the cover and laughed. It said, The Heroic Stories of Thor and the Misfortunes of Loki.

"Let's see how accurate this is," I mumbled flipping to the first page.

The more I read, the more my suspicions were confirmed. Thor's stories were too heroic and impossible, and mine were too gruesome. I got so frustrated that I threw the book. It bounced off the barrier and landed on the floor smoldering.
