Technically when I upload this, it won't be on Thanksgiving, (It's an American holiday) but I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving anyway.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁🍂🦃

Peter's POV

When I opened my eyes the next morning, a strip of sunlight from the open door filled the room with light. I smiled. I didn't have to wear the glasses today.

I looked next to me. Wade was gone. I threw off the blanket that had been placed over me and crept towards the door. I paused and stuck my head out of the crack between the door and the doorframe.

I saw Wade a few yards down the hall. His body language was tense and I could hear his voice. He sounded upset.

I decided to listen.

"Look, Loki," Wade said. I almost recoiled back into the room. He was talking to Loki?! I continued listening.

"Peter is really upset right now. He has had several panic attacks and he has basically been sobbing his eyes out every time you're mentioned."

I was in shock. Why would Wade tell him that?

Loki's voice pulled me out of my thoughts. "He has?" Sorrow laced his voice. "Can I just talk to him? Please? I need to apologize!"

"No," Wade said firmly. "I've only known him about three days and I would die for him. You hurt him really bad."

"But-" Loki began.

"He doesn't want to see you! You were cruel to him! From what I've heard you hurt everyone around you! Please leave."

I could hear Loki's breath hitch. His receding footsteps let me know he ran away. I felt bad. He didn't deserve that.

I stepped out of the room and started walking towards Wade.

"I think you were a little too harsh," I said.

He jumped. "P-Peter I-"

"It's okay," I interrupted. "You were trying to protect me. I think I'm going to go console him."

"Are you sure?"

I nodded. "He's clearly sorry besides no one should feel like that."

Wade sighed. "Tell him I'm sorry."

I nodded again and jogged after Loki. I followed the sound of his ragged breathing and pounding footsteps until I saw him.

He was sitting on one of the outdoor balconies that hung off the side of Stark Towers. Traffic zoomed hundreds of feet below.

I slid open the door that separated the balcony from the inside. I heard him sniffing and saw tears dripping from his eyes.

I silently sat down next to him. Loki jerked his head up. He opened his mouth like he was going to yell, but shut it as soon as he saw it was me.

I noticed that he was so upset that he was in his Jotun form. I wrapped my arm around his cold shoulder and pulled him closer.

"It's okay," I mumbled. "Let it all out."

His face crumpled and he started sobbing. Ice formed underneath Loki as he cried.

My heart tugged painfully. I couldn't bear to see him like this. Several minutes passed.

The temperature dropped and I shivered. Ice crept along the floor.

"Hey buddy. I know you're hurting but you have to calm down now," I said.
