Peter's POV
I woke up to an empty bed. I winced as I pushed myself up into a sitting position. With a heavy sigh, I stood, not at all excited for the school day. I heard the squeak of the bathroom doorknob and turned to see Loki step out of the bathroom. His hair was dripping and he wasn't wearing anything but a towel, tied low on his waist.
I dimly realized his bruise looked better as I stared at his toned body. I yawned and stretched, instantly regretting it as it pulled some of my cuts.
"Are you okay?" He asked, by my side in an instant.
I lifted my shirt to see blood soaking the bandages one of my deeper wounds. "I think I reopened it."
Loki took in a sharp breath. He nodded quickly and rushed to his closet, yanking on the first set of clothes he could find. As soon as he was finished, he ran back to me and teleported us. We landed in Bruce's lab, startling him into dropping his book.
I sat down on the table with a heavy sigh. "Is this necessary? I can already feel it closing."
Bruce's eyes followed where I was holding my shirt. He sucked in a quick breath. Wordlessly he gathered medical supplies. He instructed me to strip and lay back. I did as I was told.
With careful hands he peeled off the soaked bandage. Bruce examined my wound carefully.
"You did this?"
I winced as he prodded at the stitching. "Yeah, learned from getting stabbed so many times as Spider-man."
"It's a little sloppy, but with no previous medical history, it's incredible."
"Doc, I'm kinda bleeding out here."
"Right. This'll hurt."
Loki offered his hand as Bruce started working. I held on, my eyes screwed shut in pain. He finished up and placed a new bandage on before releasing me.
"Be careful!" He shouted after us as we vanished back to our room.
I threw my shirt in the hamper before carefully changing clothes and getting ready. Loki switched his outfit three times, complaining about how none of them fit the vibe. I laughed quietly and took extra precautions to make sure none of my other wounds got damaged. This was going to be one hell of a day.
By the time we brushed out teeth and got to the kitchen it was already 7:30. Tony was waiting in the kitchen, coffee mug in hand, tapping his foot impatiently.
"Finally," He exclaimed when we entered. "I was just about to go get you myself. Better eat fast, don't want to be late on your first day."
I sighed. "Don't remind me."
Tony offered me coffee as Loki and I shuffled around the large space making breakfast.
"No thanks," I told him. "Nothing like getting several stitches to wake you up. Surprisingly its a lot more effective than coffee."
I lifted up my shirt to show him my freshly bandaged cut.
"He reopened it stretching this morning," Loki explained. "Bruce patched him up."
Tony's gaze shifted between Loki and I, his eyes took in our bruises and wounds. His expression softened a little. "Are you sure you guys can go to school? Maybe you should rest for today."
"Thanks, dad, but I think we can handle going to school. Besides we're already up."
I poured out a bowl of cereal and sat at the counter, devouring it and then pouring another. I spared a glance up to see Loki and Tony frozen in place, staring at me.
