Happy New Years!!

Did you remember to scream Jumanji?

Also I need to mention the comments. You all are absolutely incredible and the supportive people who show their love are the people that inspire me to write this story!

Enjoy!

Peter's POV

"Why is he acting like that?" Thor asked.

"Acting like what? Happy? Maybe it's because someone actually cares for him for once."

Thor's eyes narrowed. "What?"

"Real nice of you, y'know. Abandoning your brother. Not believing him. Did you know that he has nightmares every single night because to the New York incident? You were the person who was supposed to love him more than anything! And you left him to rot on Midgard."

They seemed completely surprised at my outburst.

Tony spoke up. "I-" He paused and swallowed, like he was about to say something that was hard for him. He shook his head and forced out the words, "I'm sorry."

"It's okay, Mr. Stark," I snapped my mouth shut. The nickname had just fallen out. I cleared my throat. "Don't apologize for their mistakes."

Tony's eyes seemed to sparkle. It was probably just a trick of the light.

"What's your relationship with him?" Natasha asked, grabbing my attention.

"...What?"

"What is your relationship with him?" Natasha repeated. "You seem very close for no apparent reason."

"Um friends?" I answered thoroughly confused.

"Then how come you both were flushed?"

"I'm pretty sure you were there when we ran around the kitchen for ten minutes."

"Well neither of you have ever acted like that around other people. Why is that?"

I stood up abruptly. The chair scraped behind me.

"Welp. I think it's time for me to go."

"Why so nervous, Peter?"

I took a deep breath and let it out. "It reminds me of interrogations from Hydra," I admitted reluctantly. "They always followed up with a beating."

Natasha opened and closed her mouth, looking for something to say. Guilt covered all three of their faces.

Satisfied with the distraction, I closed my eyes and concentrated. Loki! I called in my head. I'm ready!

Loki seemed to emerge from thin air. "You called?"

A smile broke over my face. "Yep!"

"Let's go then."

He grabbed my hand and I felt a tugging feeling in my gut. We teleported back into the living room.

The snacks we had abandoned on the floor of the kitchen were now neatly piled by the base of the couch. I snagged the remote on the way to the couch and plopped down.

My mood shifted. I didn't really want to watch a movie anymore. I set the remote on the coffee table.

"I don't wanna watch a movie anymore," I said turning around on the cushion.

"Yeah me neither," Loki agreed.

"How about we play truth or dare instead?"

"What's that?"
