Warning!! This story includes panic attacks, swearing, terrible jokes, depression, bullying, and probably other uncomfortable topics.

Last chapter I forgot to mention this in the story. Peter has hightened senses after being bitten by the radioactive spider, so sometimes when he has panic attacks his senses get amplified ten times more. It's called sensory overload and it makes Peter sensitive to everything. Like for example, if you dropped a pin on the floor, to Peter it would sound like you just threw something. So just keep that in mind.

Peter's P.O.V

As the elevator zipped up I began to get nervous. "Where are we going?" I asked tentatively.

"Up to my penthouse," Mr. Stark replied nonchalantly.

My eyes widened. "Your penthouse?! But- but I'm just an intern! Why would you take me there?" I began nervously wringing my hands and Mr. Stark glanced over at me.

"Kid did you somehow forget you're on the brink of starvation? Going to my penthouse is the best way to get you food."

"Oh," I said staring at the wall and then it hit me, "Don't the Avengers also stay there?"

Mr. Stark smirked. "Yep."

I began to panic. "Will I get to meet them?! Oh my gosh! This isn't happening. What do I say? What if they hate me? What if-"

"Woah kid! Calm down!" Mr. Stark interrupted putting his hands on my shoulders, forcing me to look at me.

I took a shaky breath in and looked at him. Judging from his worried expression, he could tell I was on the verge of another panic attack.

"Sorry Mr. Stark. This is a dream come true. I'm just scared they won't like me," I admitted quietly.

"Don't worry," Mr. Stark said, "They'll all love you."

A ding was heard and I grimaced, my senses still sensitive.

The doors opened and Mr. Stark stepped out with me trailing behind him, I could already hear the Avengers laughing and talking in the kitchen. As we walked down the corridor in the direction of the kitchen, I could hear something scurrying in the vents above us.

"Mr. Stark?" I said nervously, looking up, "There's something in the vents above us."

Mr. Stark looked surprised. "How do you know?"

"I can hear whatever is up there, scurrying around," I said pointing up, getting even more nervous. "It sounds big."

"I don't hear anything," He said cocking his head, "But if it makes you feel better, I'll check it out." We stopped and Mr. Stark tapped his arc reactor. His Iron Man suit formed around him and Mr. Stark held his hand out, sending a blast of light into the vents.

They exploded and I cowered behind Mr. Stark holding my hands against my head, whimpering. Something fell out of the vent with a loud thump.

Once the dust cleared we could clearly see the form of a man laying on the floor groaning. Mr. Stark's face peice whipped up and he walked over to the man. I followed closely behind curious.

Mr. Stark rolled over the stranger. "Clint?!" He cried out and glanced up at me helplessly. We locked eyes and I got an idea.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y, he looks hurt. Can you scan him for injuries, please?" Peter asked remembering Mr. Stark's trick from earlier.

"Certainly Peter," The A.I. complied, "He looks like he has several severe burns on his chest and back."

"F.R.I.D.A.Y, call the others and tell them what happened. Tell them to get over here fast," Mr. Stark said, copying me.
