Surprise Chapter!! You're welcome ;]

Peter's POV

I woke up tired and hungry. I had gotten used to sleeping with Loki, without him I couldn't. I burrowed myself in the covers, not ready to get up. I knew going back to sleep was impossible but I didn't want to face the reality that Loki might never regain his memories.

I sighed and pushed the covers off of me. A feeling of hopelessness settled over me as I got dressed. Simple jeans and a borrowed shirt from Loki's side of the room. It still smelled like him too. I yanked on a pair of socks and my Converse. I took a deep breath and pushed open the door.

I passed a window on my way to the living room and caught a glimpse of my appearance. My curls were messy, my skin was pale, and heavy bags rested under my eyes. As I walked closer to the kitchen and the living room, I caught myself walking faster. I was anxious to see if he was awake.

I strolled into the kitchen, grabbing a granola bar on my way to the living room. I could hear muffled words and paused by the doorway, eavesdropping. Nobody noticed me watching. Everyone but Wade, Thor, Clint, and Bucky were present.

"Is he awake?" Wanda asked.

"Yes. Thor tried to offer food, but he attacked him," Bruce replied. "He's resting in the infirmary."

"Which cell is he in again?" Vision questioned.

"The emergency one up here in the penthouse," Tony sighed. "Now for the bigger question, what do we do about Peter?"

"What about him?" Natasha asked.

"Are we really going to let him see Loki? He's too dangerous to be around," He replied.

"You know that was an empty promise. Of course we're not letting them see each other," Steve agreed.

I dropped the granola bar. It landed on the floor with a loud thunk. Everyone's eyes landed on me.

"You were planning on not letting me see him?" I asked in a dangerous tone.

"Peter, he attacked Thor! He won't recognize you! You've got to accept that," Steve cried defensively.

"He did recognize me!" I shouted. "I saw him, he hesitated!"

"It's true," Natasha interjected quietly. Her eyes were red rimmed, like she had been crying, but I was too angry to focus on that.

"It doesn't matter, you can't see him. End of discussion," Tony stated.

Vision dipped his head at me. "I apologize, Peter, but I agree with Tony. It is too dangerous."

My blood was boiling. In a deadly calm voice I said, "You promised. That makes all of you liars. I am seeing him one way or another. I don't care if I have your permission or not."

I stormed out of the room, abandoning my granola bar on the floor. I could barely see. My eyes brimmed with tears, caused by the anger and betrayal. I wiped my face and started sprinting. I heard faint footsteps of the others running after me.

"FRIDAY, my command overrides Tony's correct?" I asked.

"Yes, Peter."

"Shut down the halls as I pass them. Make sure no one can follow me."

"Done."

Sheets of metal descended from the ceiling behind me. I heard shouts of surprise from the others. I smiled, glad that I was at least getting a little bit of vengeance.

"Could you direct me to Loki's cell, please?"

"Of course. I'll light the path."

The lights that lined the ceiling started flashing in the direction that I needed to go. I followed them all the way until I reached a metal door. I opened it and saw a monitoring room. Computers, cameras, and microphones sat on the metal desk space facing the cell. Just above the counters full of equipment, one way mirrors allowed you to see inside the prison. The walls of the cell were all reinforced, along with the door, to accommodate people with super powers and unnatural abilities. The cell itself was a small room with a toilet and a bed that jutted out of the wall. Nothing was in it that could be picked up or used as a weapon.
