Trigger Warnings! Lol idk what to put here anymore. I think that there's going to be a big fight or something.
Sorry this is so late. I've been swamped with homework. Hopefully it was worth the wait lol.
Peter's P.O.V
"Peter!" Loki whined, "We're going to get caught because of you!"
"No! I'm not going back into that disgusting pocket!" I cried, clinging to Loki's fingers.
Loki sighed defeatedly. "Fine but if there is any sign of danger, use your spider powers to get out of here."
"Okay, mom," I fired back.
Loki rolled his eyes. "Let's go."
Being up so high was a surreal experience. I peered through Loki's fingers. The floor seemed miles away. The wind whistled in my ears as we sped around, looking for Clint's room.
I felt Loki curl his fingers to form some sort of backrest, that I gratefully leaned back on. The hallway flashed by and we were about to turn the corner, when my spidey senses picked up noise.
"Stop! I hear voices!" I hissed. Loki halted and pressed his back to the wall.
"Bring me to the edge of the wall, so I can see around the corner," I whispered.
He quickly complied and soon I was able to peer around the corner. It was the kitchen. Sitting around the counter were Natasha, Tony, and Thor. They were having a hushed conversation, no doubt talking about what happened earlier.
"-was acting suspicious," Nat said. "He flinched away when I tried to touch him."
"Maybe he just didn't want to be touched," Tony offered.
Nat shook her head. "We were spies together. I know all of his little tics. He never shys away like that."
Thor glared at his pop tart. "Maybe it was Loki."
Nat and Tony turned to stare at him. "What?" They both asked.
"My brother can shapeshift and he was with Bucky, Clint, and Peter. Plus he doesn't like to be touched," Thor explained.
I had heard enough. I patted Loki's hand and he brought me back.
"They suspect us, or more accurately, you. They noticed how you flinched when Nat tried touching you," I reported. "We have to be extra careful now."
Loki nodded. "We have to go tell Clint. I found his room."
"Where is it?" I asked eagerly.
Loki grimaced. "You're not going to like this. It's across the kitchen."
I was already shaking my head. "No no no. Absolutely not."
"You have to in my pocket."
"No!" I yelled and tried scrambling out of Loki's fingers. Loki held fast though. He forcefully shoved me back into his pocket and shifted into Captain America. The inside of his pocket even turned blue.
He kept his hand in his pocket, pinning me to the gross floor. The pocket shifted and I knew he had started into the kitchen. I heard Nat and Loki exchanging words, but I was too busy struggling to care.
I thrashed, kicked, and scratched but nothing fazed him. Loki tightened his grip around me. With an angry yell, I bit down onto Loki's finger. Loki yelped.
"What was that, Cap?" I heard Tony ask. I immediately stopped struggling, feeling guilty. I had jeopardized the mission. That was something a Hydra soldier was never supposed to do.
I let my body go limp and Loki took his hand out.
"It was nothing," Loki lied. "I'm going to go see Clint."
I could practically feel the others suspicious gazes as Loki backed out of the room. As soon as we were out of sight he shifted again and took me out.
"You bit me?!" He cried.
"That pocket was disgusting!" I fired back.
Loki glared at me. "We were almost caught!"
"Because of you! I told you I hated the pocket!"
"Well where else could you have gone? It was the only option!"
We continued to argue back and forth until we reached Clint's room. Loki raised his hand to knock. The door swung open and we were yanked inside before Loki even knocked.
"What the heck is wrong with you?!" Clint scolded. I looked up. Loki had instinctively curled his fingers around me and was shielding me from veiw.
"Where is Peter?" Bucky interjected. "We could hear the both of you arguing from all the way down the hall!"
Loki backed up a bit. I could feel him tense up. I patted his hand, trying to comfort him. He smiled slightly.
"Sorry," Loki apologized quietly. "Peter's right here."
He slowly unfurled his hand until I was sitting on the flat of his palm. Bucky and Clint both gasped.
"What did you do to him?" They asked unanimously.
Loki sighed. "We ran into some trouble and I had to hide Peter in my pocket." As Loki explained the whole story to Bucky and Clint, I fiddled with the edge of the peice of cloth around my waist.
A wave of tiredness hit me, and I felt my eyes begin to droop. The longer the conversation went on the sleepier I got. When I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer, I curled up on Loki's hand and promptly passed out.
