Nat's POV
I watched Tony pace the living room again. Peter, Loki, and Thor had been missing for two days, seven hours, and thirty-five minutes. He hadn't slept since then, spending every moment trying to figure out where they were. I didn't like to admit it, but I was worried for them, even Loki. Everyone who lived in the compound, sat on couches and chairs trying to figure out what to do.
Wade came to visit the second day that they had been missing and decided to join us and help is find the trio. Bucky, Tony, and Wade we all especially torn up about the situation.
"Sit down," I ordered from my seat. "You're making me antsy with your nervous energy."
He huffed and took a seat, letting his jitters out by bouncing his knee. "It's been too long. What if something happened to them? Where are they?"
"We don't know, Tony," Wanda replied. "Frankly I'm still processing the fact that Loki and Bucky are staying here, and that the Spider-Man character is a kid."
"Wanda, dear, maybe a little less blunt," Vision chided. "He's worried for them."
Wanda and Vision showed up at the tower not long after the disappearances of the others, having finished their mission overseas. It would have been a pleasant surprise, had other things not been weighing on the team.
"I am not worried!" He protested. "I'm just.. mildly interested."
"Because a mildly interested person spends all of their free time pacing, muttering, and trying to locate them," Steve pointed out.
I pointed an accusing finger. "Shut it, Stripes. You're concerned too."
"We all are," Bruce consoled.
A huge boom shook the tower and everyone leapt to their feet.
"That sounded like it came from the roof!" Clint yelled. "Come on!"
Bruce, Bucky, Clint, Wade, and Steve all ran for the elevator, while the rest of the heroes opted to fly out the open window. I knew that I was too energized to wait in a crowded metal box, so I dashed up the stairs instead.
I made it to the roof the same time the flying Avenger's did and was greeted with smoke. A gust of wind blew away the dust and I saw Thor waving his hammer as a greeting. I located Peter and Loki behind him. Loki was laughing quietly and Peter was hunched over, presumably dizzy. Loki seemed younger, looked younger, as if he was more human than ever. I chalked it up to a trick of the light.
Peter spotted Tony and yelled, "Mr. Stark!"
He started to run towards him.
"Kid?" Tony shouted back and jumped out of his suit.
"Mr. Stark!" Peter yelled back.
"Kid!" Tony answered, more enthusiastically this time and started running too.
"Mr. Stark!"
Tony's tone changed to anger. "Kid!"
"Mr. Stark?" Peter asked, his steps faltering.
"KID!" He was almost there.
"Mr. Stark?!" Peter stopped fully and his expression read confused fear.
Tony leapt for him and caught him by the shoulders before he could escape. "Where were you?! Do you have any idea how worried I have been? You vanished you idiot!"
He shook him back and forth trying to get answers. I smiled, highly entertained by his fatherly antics. Vision floated over and put a hand on his arm.
