Chapter Thirty Eight: Living Young, Wild, and Free

Shai's POV~

The weather in Florida is amazing, not too hot and not too cold. Brad and Jane, my best friends from high school will be join us tonight when we head to a beach party tonight. I'm excited to experience my first party in Florida and it's nice to enjoy it with my old friends.

"So, your hot British man, Theodore.." Sarah winks while leading me to her guest bedroom.

I sigh and say, "I came here to take a break, we've had a couple of rough bumps in our relationship."

Sarah nods and answers, "I get it, you guys never get privacy. I don't know how you handle it, I'd freak out and punch everyone."

I laugh and respond, "Not just the privacy. We were expecting.."

Sarah drops one of my shirts and her mouth is wide open. A frown appears on her face and she begins to speak.

"But Shai, you were in a horrible car wreck with that Nahko dude! Please don't tell me..." Her voice trails off.

It takes a lot f strength for me not to tear up when I try to tell my friends. I can trust Sarah with anything, we've gone through so much.

"Yes, we lost our baby. The media and press are beginning to find out, not going to lie I'm scared and I didn't want Theo to live a life with me; being called terrible names cause of me." I take a deep breath.

Sarah looks like she's going to cry, instead she gets up and pulls me into a hug.

"You two will be just fine. I see how you two communicate, the chemistry is indestructible! You can't leave him, I won't let you." She smiles.

I decided to focus on unpacking for the rest of the hour and then Sarah and I can meet up with Brad and Jane.

Jane and I became close our sophomore year. We were in the same musical theatre class and both participated in our school play; Romeo and Juliet. We shared the part of a horse and we got into a two piece horse costume. Trust me, it's not that fun.

Brad on the other hand, I had a major crush on him back in my freshman year. He was my lab partner for three years, he is a year older than me. Now, we are two peas in a pod. We treat each other as if we are brother and sisters. Plus, Sarah and him might be a thing!

"Ready to dive into the deep blue sea?" Sarah throws a white t-shirt over her pink bikini.

I pull my jean shorts over my black bottoms and keep my top as it is, "Let's go!"

Theo's POV~

I wake up the next morning, I have a photo shoot today. For now, I'm getting used to being by myself, it's nice to have some alone time. I make my bed and hop in the shower.

After my photo shoot, I'll be meeting up with my publicist and meet my new co-star for an upcoming movie that I'll be starring in. Nerves build up in my stomach, I'm not that good at first impressions.

I grab my keys and lock the apartment. Once I got my car started, I began driving towards the building, placing my hand on the empty passenger side; I realized Shai isn't sitting next to me and for some reason I wanted to burst into tears.

She's not only my lover but my best friend and usually she would get rid of my anxiety but she can't now. In a matter of minutes I arrive to my photo shoot. I'm early, so I decided to call Shai and hear her voice one more time.

"Hello, Shai speaking." She answers in a stern voice.

"Shai, hey. I wanted to know how you've been?" I greet her, happy she answered.
