"Love insists the loved loves back" -Dante Alighieri

Shailene's POV~

Before I knew it, Theo was helping me into a wheelchair and I was on my way to do deliver my daughter Luna. Fear and excitement is making my body practically explode, I hope everything goes well. I've never experienced delivering a baby and I feel as if the book did nothing. However, my doctor keeps on telling me to breath slowly; so I focus on breathing and try to ignore the excruciating pain that is erupting in my lower abdomen.

"Shai baby, you're going to do just fine." Theo's deep accent fills my ears and he kisses my knuckles.

The nurses lay me onto the bed, helping me into a hospital gown and pulling my short hair into a ponytail. Theo changes into a nurse's uniform, letting the doctor talk to him and telling him to help me through the process. Theo had informed me that my family and his family are on their way now. All I have to do now is wait until it is time.

"Alright Miss Woodley, the baby looks fine. You must control your breathing and when the contractions fall into the right timing, we will let you know when to push. " My doctor explains.

My heart begins to beat 10x faster, Theo must had noticed because he came right next to me and kneeled to get on my eye level.

"Shai, don't focus on the pain." He grabs my hand.

"Theo, how the hell does a woman not feel pain?!" I shout, not meaning to get mad at him.

Theo laughs and says, "I know that wasn't you, it was just the angry demon that's controlling you."

"Also known as hormones and contractions." I groan and let out a small laugh.

I turned my head towards the door, seeing my mom and Theo's mom walking in. Both of them look at each other and smile, excited to be grandparents. Theo walks over to them and tells them to stay out of the way.

A sharp pain stabbed my abdomen and I screamed, causing everyone to race over towards me.

My doctor announces it is time to begin pushing and Theo quickly came to my bedside. I listened to the instructions; Take a deep breath in, push, breathe out. I repeated these steps every minute and my nurses said to keep going.

However, my body refused. The pain was too much to bare and I was already shedding a tear or two. Theo hates seeing me upset, he began to whisper things into my ear.

"Remember the first time we met? When I walked into the room and my eyes went directly to you. You basically sparkled in my vision, making me want you all to myself." Theo softly whispers.

I breathe in, push, and breathe out.

Theo kept whispering, "Then the first time we slept together; you were nervous and scared to death for the Divergent Premiere. I held you close, falling asleep to your heartbeat."

I pushed harder this time, Theo's words distracting me from the pain had helped.

"Great job Shai, keep going! We see the head!" My doctor exclaims.

"Then our first break up, you flying away from me ripped me apart and I just wanted you back. I love you way too much to let you go." His accent relaxes my mind.

"Halfway there Woodley!" Dr. Jones smiles after I push again.

"Then we found out about Luna. Our first daughter that we ever created and I'm so grateful that it was with you." He kisses my temple.

I groan and push one more time, giving it everything I got and thats when I heard the cry. A cry of our daughter, Luna.

"Welcome to the world Luna Jane Taptiklis!" Our doctor shouts, letting Theo cut the umbilical cord.

I smile and finally fall against the mattress. Luna is finally here, I watched them clean her carefully and wrap her in a soft, pink blanket. They handed her to Theo, him taking her into his secure arms and smiling widely.

"I'm your daddy, I'm going to spoil the crap out of my princess." He whispers.

He slowly walks over to the bedside and hands her to me, I take the soft bundle of joy and stare at her facial features. She already has some light brown hair and Theo's nose. I carefully lift her pink hat, realizing she has my ears.

"Gosh, she's beautiful." I stare in astonishment.

"We did good love, she's amazing." Theo looks down at me and we kiss each other in happiness and love.
