Chapter Nine: Someone Else

After packing my clothes, which were only a few we headed to the airport. Theo grabbed my waist and kept me close. I smile for pictures since I was feeling okay for now. Neil started dirty dancing with Miles when we got on our private jet. Zoé was already asleep.

"I have been meaning to ask you, how's Ruth? I haven't talked to her in a while." I smile to Theo.

"She's been annoying lately. Like I told you, she's been following me everywhere. Then I'll see her and she will accuse me of cheating on her. She's not the same." Theo sighs.

"Oh she probably just misses you." I pat his hand.

"To be honest Shai, I might not be in love with her anymore. Do I love her? Always. But in love with her is something different." He stares deeply into my eyes.

I take his words and think about this. How could Theo not be in love anymore? They were together for six years! That's a hell of a long time.

"Theo is there someone else?" I shift on the seat.

He gulps and answers, "Yes."

I sigh and go hug him.

"Theodore, if you aren't in love with her you can't keep leading her on. Just end it and it will save her a thousand more tears. Whoever the girl you love is very lucky." I mess up his hair.

"I'm taking a nap." He reclines his chair.

I look back at Theo and think of who the mystery girl is. He looks so handsome and peaceful when he sleeps.

"If you're gonna stare, just come over here." He mumbles.

For some reason my body forces me to join him. Theo pulls me onto his lap and I snuggled into his neck. I'm not nervous, instead this feels right.

My mind begins to wonder about Theo's words, has he found someone else? He hasn't really informed me about any dates with other women so I had no clue who it was.

Theo's hands circled my lower back, putting my nerves at ease before the premiere. I love how comfortable we can make each other, I cherish that in our relationship.

Theo is my anchor and I am his.

That's when it hit me...

I'm the mystery girl.
