The sun is shining brightly today, it's fairly warm out this Christmas. Theo spent the night with me at my apartment. A couple weeks ago, we had done it for the first time. It was amazing.

Since I've met his parents a couple months back, he decided he wanted to meet mine that night. Therefore he's coming with me to visit my parents on Christmas.

My mother loves Theo and my father is very happy that I found someone like him. My brother, Tanner is cool with it too. Therefore, Theo and I will stay in the guest bedroom since my room has been transformed into that.

Simi Valley isn't so far away from L.A so that gives Theo and I have a chance to unwrap our gifts. I have no idea what he has gotten me, which makes me nervous. I don't expect a lot, Theo is the best gift that has ever happened to me.

"Merry Christmas!" Theo enters the room, his hair curly and wet.

He was holding a square box that was decorated in green and red. Then there was a silver bow on top.

"Oh Theo..." I gasp.

"Open it, Love." He smiles.

I do what he says, opening the small box. Inside, it was a silver necklace with a heart on the end.

The heart was labeled, "Forever."

Tears began to form in my eyes, making me emotional. I hope Theo enjoys his gift as much as I do.

"Oh handsome, thank you. Help me put it on?" I say.

"Of course." He moves my hair out of the way.

Once my necklace was clicked, I ran into the bedroom to where I was hiding my gift. It was a bottle of vodka, wrapped with a red bow. Then, I had gotten all Theo's songs out onto a disc from his old band.

"Merry Christmas!" I smile widely.

"I know what that is!" He chuckles, grabbing the bottle of Vodka.

Then he grabs the album and shakes it. I nod for him to open it and he did. Then he smiled, looking back up at me.

"You're too sweet, Love." He pulls me towards him, placing a sweet, jolly kiss on my lips.

"We should really get going now, it's 4:39 and dinner begins at 5:30 PM." I tell Theo.

He nods and we ended up packing our suitcase and in his jeep. It's about a half an hour ride to Simi Valley, therefore I decided to take a nap. Theo lays his hand on my left thigh while he drives, he has done that since we've first met. I'm used to it now.

"Shai, baby? Wake up." Theo lightly shakes me.

I let my eyes ajdust to my surroundings, we're finally at my house. Tanner and my parents are home, most likely cooking. I grab Theo's hand, we can come back out to get our bags later. I'm excited for my parents to meet Theo. I wonder what they'll think..

"Mom? Dad?" I say as we walk in.

"Shai, sweetheart is that you?" My mom walks in with her cooking apron on.

"Mom!" I exclaim, hugging her tightly.

"You must be Theodore. Nice to meet you." My mother smiles at Theo, then she hugs him.

Theo grins, accepting the loving hug of my mom. I smile at how special this moment is.

My father walks into the front foyer as well as Tanner. I hug them, telling them how nice it is to see them again.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Woodley." Theo and my father shake hands.

"Oh son, please. Call me Lonnie." He smiles at Theo.

We all head into the kitchen, Tanner began to set up the plates and utensils on the table. Theo was discussing recipes that his mother found in a cook book to my mom. They seemed to have gotten along quite well.

I decided to ask how my father is doing at his apartment and the school he works at since he's the principal. My mother and father had gotten a divorce when I was Fourteen years old. It wasn't because anyone cheated, they just didn't love each other like that anymore. However, they're very close to one another and care for each other deeply.

"Time for Dinner!" My mom shouts, while setting the Ham on the table.

"Got turkey too mom?" Tanner jumps onto his seat.

I giggle, my brother and I always loved eating Turkey on Christmas dinner. It's kind of our tradition.

"Yes Tanner." My mother groans, setting the Turkey on the other side of the table.

Theo and I take our seats. I compliment my mother's outfit. It was a white blouse and smooth black pants. I'm surprised nothing had stained her blouse. She loved my blue sweater with polka dots and Theo's suit.

After dinner, we had spent the night discussing our future and how different it is these days. Theo talked about new projects he might begin and how my interviews went during "The Fault in Our Stars." The night contained laughter and joy of friends and family being together. Christmas always made me joyful, especially when my boyfriend enjoys it too.
