After a long day of shooting, Theo and I were ready to head out. I drove home and ate a granola bar. Neil insisted that I should have a phone so everyone can contact me, therefore a lovely IPhone 5s is laying on the counter. One thing I'm not good at is technology.

Then I head upstairs to shower and get ready. I slip on a white sports bra and a grey tang top. Then I put on black jean shorts. I apply mascara, which is all I need. My hair is in a pony tail and I'm ready.

"Theo, where are we going?" Theo came an hour later and picked me up in his black jeep.

"Well, it's called Mountain Peek. They said its a nice sunset around this time so why not try?" He laughs.

"So, how are you and Ruth? Engagement yet?" I smile.

Honestly, Ruth sounds very sweet and I would love to meet her one day. It looks like she makes Theo really happy.

"We are good and nope." He shrugs his shoulders.

I turn towards him and say, "Why is that? She makes you very happy. I can tell."

He sighs, "It's complicated. She really means a lot to me but it's just not there you know?"

I nod my head, understanding his dilemma. I remember my ex boyfriend, Lucas. We loved each other but it wouldn't have lasted. I shiver, not wanting to remember anymore.

"We are here!" He exclaims.

I get out and look around. Trees are perfectly green, the sky is a orange with a mix of pink and purple. The grass has a tint of a dark green since the sun is setting soon. It was breath taking.

"If we get to the top fast enough, we can see the sun set." Theo smiles and that's when I grin.

"Race ya?" I ask.

"You're on!" He shouts and we start to sprint.

My legs are quick, but so are his. It doesn't help that we have sprinted up a mile of going up hill. I finally run out of breath and give up. Theo turns around and breathes heavily.

"Thank god you stopped! My legs are on fire." He chuckles.

I manage to catch my breath and say, "We are at the top!"

Theo and I turn around and see the Pacific Ocean. The sun is setting behind some clouds and the full moon is rising. Never have I ever seen this image before in real life.

"God that's amazing." I stare in awe.

Theo's POV~

I stare at her and say, "Sure is."

She must have thought I was talking about the sunset but I was talking about her. Something about Shailene kept me smiling and I appreciated her positive vibe.

A yawn escaped her mouth and she said, "I'm beat."

"Race you back?" I smirk.

"In your dreams." She giggles that adorable laugh.

I sit down on the soft ground and pat the spot next to me for Shai. She joins me and leans against a tree, playing with the beautiful green grass.

"How about we play twenty questions?" I suggest, she nods eagerly.

"How many siblings do you have?" I ask.

"One and his name is Tanner. You?"

"Five, three brothers and two sisters." I laugh at her wild expression.

"My gosh, your parents need to find a new hobby." She jokes and I laugh as well.

"Why do you act?" Shai looked up at me and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"It's different. You get to express yourself in different ways and pretend to be someone else. Kind of like switching lives and being in someone else's shoes." I explain, Shai nods in agreement.

"Dude, that was deep." She giggles and I laugh as well.

We continued that for an hour and decided it was time to head back. Shailene insisted that I carry her on my back and I obeyed.
