Chapter Forty -Three: Three Months Later...

Theo's POV~

The alarm clock rings through my eardrums, causing me to jerk awake. I look to my side, seeing Shailene rubbing her eyes.

"How are you feeling?" I ask her, helping her sit up against the headboard.

She finally gets comfortable and my eyes drift to her enormous baby bump. Any day the doctor said she will be coming, they expect the delivery to be early because of the condition she was in.

"Tired, in pain." Shai groans, sipping her ice water that's on her night stand.

Shai leans forward, her cup shakes and some water falls out of the cup.

"Damn it!" She curses, I hate hormones.

I take her cup and grab a towel from the bathroom to clean up the mess. Shai is annoyed these days because she can't do anything for herself. I don't mind helping her, it feels nice to do things as long as it's helping Shai.

"Sorry babe. I'm getting tired of this whole thing, I just want her to come and then I can work out since I already missed a month of preparing for Allegiant Part 1." She takes off the covers and fixes her shirt to cover the bump.

"Shai baby, it's fine. You only missed three weeks, we have two more months of killing our bodies until filming begins. You have time." I explain to her.

She nods her head and says, "I don't want to be stuck in our apartment again today. It's the beginning of August and I already missed July."

We do need to set up furniture from the baby shower Shai's mother planned. We also need to paint the bedroom next to ours and put together the car seat and hospital bag. I never knew that it would be this much work.

"Theo can you start a bath for me? I'm going to keep reading my pregnancy book while you have some time to yourself." She pecks my cheek.

I smile and do as she says. Shailene puts everyone first, never thinks about herself. I don't need to relax, she does. Therefore I'm going to run errands while she takes her bath.

I run the water, making sure it's not too hot or cold. After adding lavender scented bubbles, I light a vanilla cupcake candle and set it on the counter right next to the bath tub.

Shai loves the outdoors therefore I opened the window, letting the fresh air of the morning into the bathroom. I hung her robe and towel on the hanger so it's easier for her to get.

I quickly walk to the kitchen, preparing a pink lemonade and ceasar salad. Shai has been obsessed with salad since thats what the baby is addicted too. I run back to the bathroom and set the meal next to the candle.

Shai walks in, looking at everything I had done.

"Babe, you didn't have too." She gasps, hugging me.

I smile and say, "But I wanted too. I want you to relax and enjoy the first day of August. I'll be out running errands so call me if you need anything."

Shai nods and leaves a lingering kiss on my lips. Gosh, this woman makes me crazy in love.

After laying a pair of leggings and a light pink, loose shirt out on the bed for Shai, I get dressed myself and grab my keys. Our baby is a girl therefore Shai and I agreed on a lavender purple for the color of the room. Our furniture is all white, so I'll let Shai pick out the decorations that will hang on the wall.

I arrive at Walmart, paparazzi waiting for me at the door. I decided to make some silly poses and let them take pictures of me since there were only a few. I signed some autographs and said farewell.

I spent about twenty minutes looking at paint, I never knew there were so many different shades of purple. Finally I chose one and grabbed paint rollers/brushes. Hopefully Shai will have enough energy to paint.

Shai's POV~

The bubble bath was needed for me, my back aches and my legs are weak nowadays. Stress has been hanging over my head these past couple of days, I just want the baby to come already. However, I do appreciate Theo being patient with me and do such kind acts.

I dry my body off, smelling the sweet candle and lavender scent. I look outside our window, seeing the ocean from far away. I can't wait until our daughter is older, then we can take her to the beach.

After blow drying my hair, which has been freshly before the baby shower and now ready for Allegiant I get dressed in the clothes Theo left for me. Hopefully I can outgrow my hair after the Divergent series is over. Theo will be home soon so I mine as well be decent and do laundry.

"I'm home!" Theo closes the front door while I turn the washer machine on.

"Hey, what color did you get?" I close the machine and let the clothes run.

"Lavender purple? There were so many shades that I wanted to throw up after seeing them all." Theo chuckles, pulling me closer to him.

I giggle and open the paint. The strange scent filled the room, I studied the color. It was beautiful, striking and unique.

"Can we paint today?" I smile.

Theo grabs the two paint brushes and winks at me, "It's not going to get done any other way now is it?"

I giggle and begin taping the edges of the doorway and above the carpet so the paint won't drip on any other things in the room.

"I also grabbed four white letters that spell out Luna." Theo says.

"Oh this room is going to be perfect, but is it bad that I'm already tired?" I laugh and Theo chuckles in response.

After eight hours of painting, we finally finished and let the room dry. I feel like my nose swallowed the whole container of paint. Theo has his shirt off since it was hot in here, the humidity went up since it's 7:30 PM.

"Ready to shower and sleep?" I hug Theo from behind who smells like paint and sweat.

"As long as you come with me." He chuckles and pulls me along.

Theo and I have been taking showers together for the last two months since I get fatigued quickly.

I strip off my clothes as Theo does too. I let my hair out of the tiny bun it was in and look at Theo who was staring at me.

"Gosh why are you so beautiful?" He looks at me astonished.

My cheeks blush in a deep red, he always makes me feel loved. He pulls me into the shower, letting the water rain on the both of us. Our lips find each other, showing their affection in the most romantic way. Theo takes the shampoo and massages my head while cleaning my hair.

"Feeling better?" He asks while rinsing my body and I do the same to him.

"Yes, much better. Thank you, for everything. I love you so much." I kiss him passionately.

Theo moans against my lips, making him kiss down my neck and leave a bite on my collar bone. I sigh, missing this because I've been pregnant way too long.

"Let's continue this in the bedroom." Theo winks and helps me out.

Theo is mine and I am his.
