Chapter Twelve: Theo's Family

Theo POV~

Shailene Woodley is the most beautiful girl in the world, even when she's asleep in my arms. I'm taking her to my parents house where my family lives. It's time to introduce her and what time is better when we are in England?

"Theo?" Shai mutters.

I must have woken her up when I was trying to get off of the bed.

"Morning sunshine. Want to go and meet the family?" I rub her arm.

"Our flight is at 9:30 PM so why not?" She grins.

Shailene's POV~

It's around ten in the morning and I'm finally ready. Theo took forever looking for his clothes. I have never met his parents and I'm actually excited. Hopefully they'll like me. Our bags are packed and I made or hotel bed.

Theo comes out in a tight white button up shirt and khakis. Then he goes into a closet and pulls out one of my short sun dresses.

"It's pretty hot out. If you want to tie it up at the top so it's shorter, fine by me." He smirks.

I laugh and hit his shoulder. He's such a pervert. I head into the bathroom to change and brush my teeth. I quickly fixed my hair up and headed out.

We hop in a cab, avoiding paparazzi. Theo rubs circles on my palm and my body immediately relaxed at his touch.

My mind began to wonder, what if Theo's family didn't like me and preferred Ruth. What am I talking about? It's not like I'm Theo's girlfriend or anything, but I would like to create a good impression.

"Here we are." Theo pays the driver and we get out.

We step out and link hands. My eyes wander to the big house. It's an old ranch style with two floors. Five cars remain in the drive way.

A little girl runs out of the house and into Theo's arms.

"Uncle T!" She squeals.

"Hey Annie. Where's Kate?" He pecks her cheek.

"Mommy is in the kitchen helping grandma." She giggles.

I know that Theo has three brothers and two sisters but I didn't know they were all married.

"Whose she?" Annie jumps down and walks up to me.

I bend down and say, "I'm Shai. You look very nice today."

She smiles with the few teeth she has.

"I like you!" She jumps into my arms and I pick her up.

Theo smiles and we walk into the house. His two other brothers were on the couch watching football. Timothy, who is the second oldest is sitting with his fiancé named Lucia. Kate must be Liam's wife since they are both in the kitchen.

"Grandma! Shai is here! Theo's princess!" She giggles and pulls my hand.

I walk in and Theo's mother comes right up to me. She engulfs me into her arms and holds me tight. His two sisters, Jessica and Lillian were staring at me with loving eyes.

"Oh Shailene. You look lovely. Please make yourself at home." She kisses my cheek.

"Come on Shai Shai, let's go play with my dollies. Uncle T doesn't enjoy being the female voices. He says he's too manly." Annie giggled and I smiled as well.

She led me up to her bedroom and it was pink. Pink curtains, pink bed, and wall. Her toys were scattered everywhere, it kind of reminded me of my childhood.

"Do you believe in true love?" Annie asked, staring at me with those big brown eyes.

"Of course, do you?" I grin, brushing her doll's hair.

"Yes I do. My mommy and daddy said Soulmates exist and that everyone has one." She smiles at her dolls and kisses them on their foreheads.

Annie is just a kind and beautiful girl, I admire that and wish my daughter could be just like her at her age.

It's like I almost belong here, Theo's family members enjoy my presence, they all hated Ruth which I felt bad but we played board games too. Theo's mom made us both go up to the balcony and take a picture before we left. Houses were behind us, I had my sunglasses on and we both looked like a married couple.
