Chapter Forty- Nine: Filming Begins

Shai's POV~

The sun blinded my eyes when I realized it was 7:00 in the morning, the cool breeze sending shivers down my spine. My head turns to the right, gazing at my handsome boyfriend soundly asleep. Then I hear a little sneeze next to my side and see Luna waking up.

"Good morning, good morning!" I say in a hushed voice.

Luna slowly opens her eyes, revealing them turning to a light brown. I smile, seeing her looking like her father.

"We have filming today." Theo groans and sits up.

I laugh, seeing Luna stretch and I pick her up.

"I guess this little one had a good sleep last night." I kiss her cheek.

"She's getting so big, already a month." He grins.

"I'll go get her dressed while you get ready. I'll feed her too." I jump out of the bed, taking Luna with me into the nursery.

Since Theo and I will be busy for the next couple of months, we will have my best friend who has a child as well watch our daughter at her house. We were lucky enough for her to say yes and Luna will have a friend somewhat her age.

After feeding Luna, I pat her back gently and debating on what's going to go down in this movie. I've read the rest of the book series and was shocked at the ending. However, I feel Veronica did a wonderful ending, it was heart breaking but we know that Tris saved society and Four will always love her. Plus, book fans could always make alternate endings and create their own stories.

I picked out a pink sundress and a pink hat, knowing the sun will be hot today. Dressing Luna is easy for now, she doesn't cry only smiles. I cannot wait until she's a little older so she can begin talking, but I don't want her to grow up so fast.

"I can take her now, you still need to shower." Theo walks into the room, freshly shaved and showered.

"Go to daddy! She needs her diaper bag packed still. Her milk is in the fridge and the formula is in the cabinet above the sink." I peck his cheek and head into the bathroom.

Theo's POV~

Once everyone was ready I started the car and Shai buckled in Luna. This was going to be a long three months yet I'm excited to see everyone on set and even new actors to be playing new parts.

"I'm excited to fly back to Chicago in two months." I wink at Shai, she shook her head.

"It's so cold there, I was born and raised into California so it takes me time to adjust." She sighs, looking out the window.

There's something bothering Shai, not our relationship but something she's not telling me. I see it in her eyes and the way her body works, the positions she sits in and her shoulder slump.

"Shai baby, is everything okay. Something's bothering you." I turn my head into her direction.

Her cheeks flush and she shakes her head no, she looks like she just saw a ghost. I frown, knowing she won't tell me what's going on.

"You have to be honest with me, I know something's wrong." I check the mirror, making sure Luna is okay.

"I can't talk about it Theo, not now." She mumbles, shifting in her seat.

I nod my head and continue to our sitter's house. Luna will be with us at 6:00 tonight so we can spend time with her after work. I'm going to miss my princess, but duty calls.

Shai's POV~

He wants to know, but I could never share my horrible past with him. Yet, lying is never okay and I'm not that kind of person. Honesty is the key, let the truth see you free is what my mother told me when I was younger.

We drop off our daughter, kissing her good bye and waiting until tonight to see her. We are filming the first couple of scenes and going over lines for the rest of the day. I'm excited, I haven't seen my friends in a long time.

"Can't wait to see the new sets." Theo smiles, we get out of the car.

I feel this awkward tension between us and that's the last thing I need to stress over.

"Theo, I'm going to tell you but now is not the time." I look into his deep brown eyes.

"I know, we can talk about it when we get home." He puts his arm around me and continues walking.

"No, I mean not today. I'm not going to lie to you, I would never do that. But I can't tell you now." I gulp, waiting for him to be mad.

He nods his head and says, "Okay, as long as you will tell me then it's fine, I'm not going to force you Shai. Obviously, this is bothering you, I just don't it to consume you."

I hug him, liking how he cares about me so much. He always knows what to say and for that, I am internally grateful.

"Well Tris, let's go be Divergent." He winks.

I laugh and say, "Lead the way Four."
